Age of Conan had boobs. Man there were pixel boobs everywhere. Didn't make that game "mature" I promise you. LOL Though I do rather wish the undies our characters wear in ESO did not look like they were purchased at Target. Something a little more ESO-themed seems to be in order.

And the underwear is always dirty... Doesn't anyone do laundry in Tamriel?

Racial underwear would have been good, bosmer could wear fig leaves to cover their naughty bits, High Elves probably guilded lillies hehehe. Khajit would obviously wear leopard skin (although that might be a little too close to home for some Khajit, you wouldn't want to be wearing the hide of your great grandmother around your nether regions now would you) and Breton's being the french inspired race would wear frilly lace knickers etc etc...

I mean sure... it sounds ridiculous but hell... why not put it in some day?

The blood and gore in this game should at the very least be on par with that of Skyrim.

When did not particularly caring about seeing oceans of blood become a "goody twoshoes perspective?"

Again, you guys are all kinds of confused about what the word "mature" means. As someone mentioned earlier, the only way to truly make this game contain mature themes would be to add a tax system and ex-girlfriends.

I think it's the old "If I want it, everybody must want it" syndrome kicking in, and anyone who opposes it must be a do-gooder.

And I object strongly to that, I don't do good, well not do-gooder good, I mean I give to charity and all that, but I'm as miserable as anyone else.

I didn't really pay attention. Huh.

I mean the game is pretty dang mature when it comes to the writing and the way certain quests can play out. BUT I think the main reason why its 'Mature' is because of, well, the sexual content mostly. Its pretty dang open about it, just shy of outright depiction and full nudity.

Yes. All games should have a good old fashioned nord decapitation 1 minute after character creation. >:)

Could you give an example? I think I was pretty attentive 4 months ago when I played the story and I can't think of much non graphic sexual content except the Argoniam maid thingie. If I remember correctly everyone was married and the game implied that the most naughty thing you can do while married is to hold hands or something even if you are a gay werewolf. I once had a quest where the moral of the story was that a lass shouldn't go fulling around with a dark skinned elf dude if not married because he will end up killing all your damn family . I may be wrong though. I sometimes am strange like that.

I would like to see severed limbs when my 2hd sword comes crashing over a low health target. but does that make me complain? No, the game itself should keep you entertained without the gore. But more gore is always good.

I really think this game needs more mature, more dark disturbing content. I am a huge fan of Dark Fantasy such as in The Wicher and Game of Thrones. I love GOT, Spartacus, Walking Dead, Breaking Bad not only for the story and writing but for how disturbing those shows are. I like that those shows induce stress in a way. I believe ESO should show that in medieval fantasy world there is nothing but violence, murder, gore, ***. I know that not everyone wants to see these things in a video game. But I think many people would feel more immersed in a more grounded world which we all could relate to.

First of all please let player be evil just like in previous TES games and don't force good choices on him. Hopefully Justice System and Dark Brotherhood will address this.
They could also add brothels for the sake of atmosphere without actual function because we all know that players would abuse the service to extreme levels. They could include quest lines related to those establishments. As much as I wish we had functioning brothels just like in Witcher 2, I think it would negatively impact community.

More menacing NPC characters would be nice. Especially bandits and pirates, because now I feel more like in a wonderland of Narnia than in a believable horrible world. A lot of characters with mentality from Game of Thrones would be nice such as Gregor Clegane, “The Mountain” and many more. Insane and brutal Vaas Montenegro from Far Cry 3 also comes to mind (IMO best villain in video game history).

And we really need gore, blood, mutilations, executions and all that. I really think we need this. Perhaps a slider for blood amount and mutilations and parental lock in settings or just a DLC item in a store to deal with ratings.
Your character keeps saying I'll kill him this and that. Certain NPCs keep telling you to kill them slowly, make them suffer but none of this show in actual gameplay. Game feels too clinical. Everything is too clean. We need blood splatter on the ground, on armor, on weapons and wounds showing on all characters. Currently it doesn't feel satisfying killing mobs. It's simply grinding brain dead AI for experience. I have this in mind:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fDiO_jgfrXM
    and
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T2X_SbZCHpc

and let's not forget Fallout 3 gore which thankfully came to Skyrim
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?annotation_id=annotation_67558&feature=iv&src_vid=_bot8NKz8So&v=iU4JQTK_-nY

and for pvp execution system could work
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X-92ZzPzKm0
This could easily work in ESO.
After killing another player you simply walk up to him press E to execute and animation plays out. After execution that player cannot be resurrected. It is up to you to take the risk to execute that player and animation is not forced on you if you decide not to execute him.
I would gladly buy an optional DLC that included gore and a more dark side of a game where you could be evil, just like in previous TES games.

Sorry for the long post, but I wanted to express my thoughts on what I wish this game had. Regardless I enjoy ESO and will continue playing. Please share your thoughts with me. I hope I am not alone with my opinion here. And let's keep this civil.

Have yet to encounter anything I wouldn't let an 8 year old see.

So you are okay with exposing an 8 year old to:

    1. Homosexuality (not saying that's wrong, just as a parent myself it's just a concept an 8 year old would have issues in fully understanding)

I'd like my children to have more experience, wizdom and you guessed it... Maturity before grappling such concepts as those above.

There is no reason to single out "homosexuality." If you use the term "adult sexuality" instead, then your point becomes clearer. 8 year olds are not prepared to deal with adult sexuality in general, I think we're all agreed on that.

The problem is that there is very little if any actual "sexuality" of any kind in ESO. There are families; men with men, women with women, and men with women; alas, no children, though they are mentioned. Nobody has sex (though it's implied in one rare instance in Ebonheart).

This issue isn't about a biology that children are not prepared for, but about relationships that children see all around them. We live in a world in which there are many kinds of families. Should children be "protected" from the truth?

Well, that's off topic, isn't it? Especially since this is a game for 18 and older only. But I think the issue needed to be clarified. The presence of many kinds of families in ESO is not one of those "mature" features, though I know some would disagree. We live in a time where those values are changing.

Mature content is in the game if you know where to look and who to talk to, just read the context of some of the dualog. Visit some of the inns in ebonhart.

That being said, mature themes don't interest everyone. I think a better option is to have have a gore/brutality/adult filter that is defaulted off to give more mature things like blood splatters, decapitation, nudity, etc. to those that want it.

A good example on how to work this would be the "iron and scales" quest (pretty sure it's this one) in craglorn; where you need to burn down 3 banners, kill a boss, and mount his 'helmet' on a spike. Those with this option on would instead take his head and mount that. No need to hide over the act if people are willing to turn the feature on. Those that don't just keep it off and don't see anything but a helmet.

Oh yeah, I think it should be pointed out... In the latter stages of development the lead designers talk about how it was a shock to them that they got an M the ESRP. When they design the game and it's content, they were aiming for a T.

2x VR14, Have yet to encounter anything I wouldn't let an 8 year old see. Vulgarity is ban-able, no blood anywhere to be seen, even though it's a game centered around KILLING and STEALING, although we've yet to see you deliver that last part.

    So why the enforced "morality"?

    Seriously... What's up Zeni?
Was the money you paid for the fraudulent use of an adult ID not worth it? An adult will recognize that morality is a social convention a culture uses for self-defense, not a mindless license for childish self-gratification.

Now that depends on what you mean by mature content.

If you mean stff like romance (like in ME2 and ME3), then I would agree.
If you mean making choices that have a real effect on the game, then I agree (it would be impossible in a MMO but it's a nice idea).
If you mean difficult moral choices were the easy option is punished and the difficult option is rewarded, I can agree there too.

But if you mean blood and guts, swearing for no reason (I have no problem with swearing for a reason btw), or any other childish garbage that gets labelled as mature, then no thanks.

BW has the player character and NPC love interest dry humping. Liara T'Soni is the only love interest naked in ME3. Shepard and everyone else was in their undies.

BW took heat from Fox News about side boob in Mass Effect1 and dry humping is what we gotten since. Dragon Age has be nothing but dry humping.

I agree. The game has a M rating. They might as well take advantage of that and stop pretending its not.
Force weapon swap to have priority over EVERYTHING. Close enough.
Make stamina builds even with magicka builds.
    Disable abilities while holding block.
Give us a REASON to do dungeons more than once.
Remove PVP AoE CAP. It is ruining Cyrodiil.
Fix/Remove Forward Camps. They are ruining Cyrodiil.
Impenetrability needs to REDUCE CRIT DAMAGE. Not negate entire builds.

Actually I miss the mechanic for romancing them, the sex scenes were frankly embarassing (I prefer leaving the act to the imagination). The mechanic, and the cutre cutscenes were they talked were far more interesting.
