"The Elder Scrolls Online officially launched on April 4, 2014 on PC and Mac," it read. "While it has become clear that our planned June release of the console versions isn't going to be possible, we have made great progress, we have concluded that we'll need about six more months to ensure we deliver the experience our fans expect and deserve."
I take "versions" to suggest a different build and the other comments solidify that it had to be redone as what they had didn't pass certification for either console.
A console only forum might make sense. Dunno how big the fanbase for it is, but they'll likely add those categories at some point to the forum structure.
...but...
Destiny is the most pre ordered game in history.
Console ESO will be contending with a $500 million dollar competitor that isn't just going to be kicking into high gear late Q3-Q4 with their upcoming console launch, they are going to be turning and burning into the PC market with Steam distribution. Bungie is aiming to storm the market with a truly next generation title that is every bit a large scale social massively multiplayer experience with plenty of small group and solo content as you'd expect from a MMO. They avoid the term MMO like the plague instead using terms like "Shared World Shooter", but it is no doubt a major competitor with the modern MMO market, which includes ESO.
I wouldn't expect to see ESO go to console any where near the launch window of Destiny. Activision will drown out any marketing they do, and will eat up a massive chunk of the market, dragging traditional FPS players and traditional MMO players together into a massive extremely high quality game. Destiny is the next big thing in gaming, it is the elephant in the room, and everyone working on a comparative product gunning for that market that's smart should be nervous as ***.

You sound exactly as I figure a bungie sales rep hijacking these forums to promote their title would sound. You could not be more transparent that way, does not matter that you probably am not because that is exactly how you sound.
Don't get me wrong, I am excited for that game too. Going to be going through it with my two brothers. Only I think you are wrong, because the thing bungie is doing, different as it is with that title does not really make it a actual MMO. I have played the beta. You have 4 emotes, and you cant actively use furniture, or have a in game home, or many of the stables of the modern MMO. If anything, Destiny toys at pretending to be a bit MMO alike. And certainly has very few RPG elements to speak of.

With the recent Forum categories added (big thanks), will there or could there be a Playstation 4 and an Xbox One thread created just before December?
Just hoping for ways to open up conversations about potential migration and news, updates, sticky, guilds, trading. Etc.
*One not limited to active PC accounts but to existing account holders
Hope all is still on track, it's been a very quiet summer. No news at any games conventions....
Like it or not Destiny is coming, and it'll be as much a recognizable a name as Halo, Call of Duty, or World of Warcraft. It's genuinely time for people to see what these next gen consoles can do, and Destiny is going to be the first big step into that arena. It's really an interesting time in gaming to see this type of game as well as those like Evolve, breathing new life into the FPS genre in a way RPGs have not since BioWare married them with RTS elements and FPS elements. The industry is changing rapidly and the things on the horizon are going to define the industry thereafter as an even more competitive market.
