I'm sure there will be many different answers here, but mine:

1. Invasion, talons, flame lash, reflect
2. Bolt escape, shards.
3. Impulse.
4. Oil in corners.

    The use of....

    1. Cheats.
    2. Exploits.
    3. Addons.

because this are Things that gives you an Advantage against other Players, which dont use them.

And yes, Addons too. With one Button to swap the whole Equip out of Combat or showing Debuffs and Buffs, so that you know if you have to use the right Skill at the right Time, it is an Advantage. We dont need to discuss this B) .

Eh, those are all standard features in most MMOs. It isn't our fault ZOS decided to not include them as options. There is no reason whatsoever players shouldn't be able to see active buffs / debuffs. I do, however, not like addons that tell players "block now!" while you're charging at them and such.

Detection potions make stealth about as effective as an altmer in heavy armor, using magicka based spells and an Ashen Grip set.

That is a design decision by the devs.

Their design decision also included allowing such things through the addon API, so again, there is no counter argument.

I was gonna say all thepeeps who run like something out of a film where they have to keep running, but I forgot the film, so my cred is blown, and I am looting all the chests they leave behind in their mad rush. Oh I sneak. A lot. Cos I get bonuses for stuff, imagine that. And mad dash during quests and transitions cos I took Orc racial skillz. Depends. I'm tactical that way. But the runners, I love you, keep running, I need your loot. And another bypassed fight, is, well, a rest for my fingers. Love you all. Dash away!

So basically, it sounds like you guys are saying that anyone who spams skills, whatever the skill may be. True enough. But that does underscore something for me which I have thought about this game for a while; the fact there are no CDs on skills make it pretty easy for people to abuse what they have.

Considering all the problems with balancing, resource management, the animation canceling debacle, and a number of other things we won't mention.... it does seem like CDs on skills as in other games would have reduced at least some of these issues --- not including the whining about PvP balance though, which exists in every MMO w/PvP I have ever seen, hehe.

This is a good point. There is just the problem of cooldowns when introduced to a limited skill bar. I like the limited skill bar, but my opinion might change if we had cooldowns. It is simply the design of the game, for better or worse.

In PvE I sometimes encounter people wearing robes and a stick. When they attack any group of mobs, all they appear to be doing is run into the midst of them and pump that stick in the air a couple of times and everything dies....... I don't see the point of having something like that in game. Effective it may be, but I often just wait for them to go their way, because it makes it all very boring.

Flocking to FotM builds, having add-ons to tell you when to use what (essentially playing the game for you) and then complain current is too easy - or proclaim to be a good player because you can press a button when your screen flashes telling you to press said button. Lastly, players who change builds to take advantage of a bug/exploit knowing it provides an unfair or unstoppable advantage.

Muizer, I agree. Then I realised it is petty jealousy. I just can't flourish. I flourish my axes, but unless I dodge and weave and heal like mad the enemy just dun show their appreciation. If only I had worn a frock or t-shirt and trousers like a hippy layabout and flourished, like God intended.

if you mean something like combat cloud that says things like, "cleanse now", saying it's playing the game for you is absolutely ridiculous.

if i'm to assume by "fotm builds" you mean using the best skills available to any particular class, which you probably do, than most people are running them. if this is the case, than the players running people over are either better, run some type of uncommon build, or have made improvements to existing builds. all are fair enough ways to win, and more than likely it is a combination of a better build+a better player. if you intentionally choose to gimp ur char to avoid "fotm", than that is your choice, but don't complain about losing.

We'll have to disagree. To me things that tell you when to cleanse, when to block, when to crystal shard, when to dodge, when to interrupt, etc apart from the in game cues is absolutely cheesy. IMO of course.

And by FotM builds I mean flocking to pyro dk pre nerfs, or in beta players flocking to templar because of the infinite magicka - which caused ZOS to over swing the nerf hammer.

I also haven't ever complained about dying, so I'm not sure about your last line.

I don't have a problem with cleanse notifications. I do have a problem with block notifications to avoid stuns. A player can be looking in the opposite direction of you, with you off screen, and their addon tells them to block as you charge, negating the stun. But telling you to cleanse a debuff that already exists? That isn't really unfair at all.

What concerns me about the current imbalances is that there's going to come a point when ZoS will say to themselves: "this is not what we intended, but we cannot fix it without alienating the customer base that's gotten used to it/invested heavily in it." I'm still waiting for them to make heavy armor melee builds viable, but if this goes on for much longer, they may not dare do that for fear of enraging the robe and stick wielding hordes.

Because! ^^. I'd say it's too op, but DKs also have op survival skills. But honestly, I was looking @Sypher's stream the other night while there was a 1V1 tournament in NA, the fight took 3h because of a templar regenerating endlessly his magicka and stamina and just stacking shields but never attacking. It's just boring IMO :).

Shrug. A 3rd party is altering the players decision making process mid fight for an advantage, so I lump it all together. I've always thought it was cheesy, though, even in MMOs where it flourished/assumed the norm.

You folks are getting awfully religious here...entertaining though.

I suck at games like this. Thus add-ons telling me what to do would only serve to remind me of something I already know: I'm doing it wrong. No thanks.

My primary enjoyment comes from watching my favorite Dunmeri character wearing Cold Harbor Black primal motif pants as she runs, runs, runs through the world. Having dual axes just makes the effect more pleasing. Thus I like dual wielding.

What I don't like is sorcerers who use pets. They block my favorite view, that's why. I don't care how you fight or how you play. Just don't block the view please.
