Tremendous Healer Counter stuck at 6, 047, 041

Does the counter for this Alliance War achievement update periodically or continuously. I hadn't checked it in a very long time, but decided to run a healer build for a while in Cyrodiil as a change of pace from recent goals and tactics. I noticed my counter for Tremendous Healer was around 6 million. I did lots of self and ally healing, including many times when I brought an ally from a tiny bit of health bar back to nearly full.

Great.

I checked the meter on the the achievement. Around 6 million. OK, but maybe it moved a little, so I noted the exact number. Lots more healing. The meter hadn't moved 1 point. More healing. Still stuck.

Am I doing something wrong or this this bugged?

    OK, well, I just turned in a 20 person bounty quest, and the counter updated to 6, 225, 720. So there you go, in case anyone else wonders how that counter works. I thought I had turned in a 20 person quest after I started tracking it, but whatever the cause, the counter does seem to eventually move.


    Edit: And now it seems to be updating in real time...

    Re-Edit: OK, so not in real time as it is stuck on another number, but eventually it does seem to move forward.
