No they don't have any right to see that you can detect them. Why ? Because I say so.An equally valid reason as you saying that you should. Learn to play and stop asking for even easier ganking .Other players have the right to know you have it active and the "disco ball" makes you identifiable. Learn to play!

Fun fact:
You cannot see that ball!
Stop inventing stuff...
Only the caster himself can see it!
It is invisible for everyone else exept people who are grouped with him.
No. I see other peoples Inner Light all the time which clues me into how many people are smart in pvp and how many are unprepared.

The particle FX and light will be scaled down in both size and intensity so it will be a bit softer and less distracting overall.

I could see it being less overwhelmingly bright, or perhaps not orbiting, though it does need to be distinguishable from other glowing balls of light
Course, if they're using a detect pot, I can't see that at all, but at least pots only last 10 secs and have a cooldown. Anyway, its fine, leave it alone.

I could have sworn that detect potions actually made it easier for you to be detected, rather than making it easier for you to detect stealthed players.

Inner light... INNER.
I notice you said get rid of it then argued to keep it.
