I would rather them add one skill line to each class already in the game. Or add 2 more morphs to every ability. Or a combination of the two.

I think adding another class would just cause everyone to jump to that class, and it would be the predominant class, at least for a while, and I don't like that idea.

I think classes, abilities, morphs, should always be added in 2's or more. So, yeah, I would be fine with adding multiple classes.

Id rather see trait lines for:

    Bard
    Necromancer
    Companion
    Thieves guild
    Dark Brotherhood
    Morag Tong
    Dragonguard
    Sword Saints
    Daggers
    Wyrd
    Thalmor
    Eyes of the Queen
    Wild Hunt
Daedric Worship (and a line for each Prince)
Aedric Worship (and a line for each divine)

Id also like there to be multiple lines for vampire to denote different bloodlines.

    But a new class? Nope.

Absolutely no more classes. Elder Scrolls games have been more about the abilities and proper use of them. NOT picking an arbitrary class. YES Elder Scrolls games have had classes but those were mostly just Templates to point you in the right direction.

The classes we have are just that Templates, after spellcrafting you'll probably see a HUGE drop in class abilities being used versus spellcrafted abilities.

That's not to say people still wont use class abilities but there will be a HUGE movement towards theorycrafting around the new spellcrafted abilities.

Next we need more Stamina abilities......HOPEFULLY we get that in abundance once the Thiefs Guild and Dark BrotherHood are released.

I'd love to see a new class, but it would be fairly hard to do..

DK-is the more self reliant (solo) power house that you don't want to go anywhere near
Templar-is the support, A Templar can easily keep a group going and easily hold their own without the need of a group
Sorc-is the long ranged fighter that you don't want to get to far from, they can easily lure you back to a group while taking out a good chunk of yours
Nightblades-are something you never want to encounter alone, the can pop in drop someone and begone faster then they came in, they can take out those who get distanced from the group.

It would be fairly hard to put another build in without disrupting the classes, If it were to be a support build they would need it so a Templar isn't rendered useless, same goes for if they were to make a powerhouse like a DK.

I think there should be somewhat of a long ranged support build, have attacks like a Neried (yes, water mage, though in most ES games Frost is considered water damage) but be able buff up the group like a DK.

They cant balance the 4 existing ones, so no or removal is my vote!

Removal is the only way this game will ever see balance... You might actually see different builds if they take classes away.

If they remove them, then they will have to add new skill lines which will take even more balancing.

If everyone has access to all skills then balance is less important. People can enjoy the game while they nerf all the power abilities, and buff the weak ones

So what your saying is we don't need a balance between Magicka and Stamina because everybody can use Magicka............your statement is just dumb.

Broken OP abilities are just that and need to be fixed/changed.

Classes do what they were meant to and that is act as Templates.

After SpellCrafting they will be even more just Templates than actual classes.

Sure, the more the merrier; my personal preference would be for a Nature-themed Druidic class, perhaps even with a shapechanging tree.

True balance would come from complete class removal, but it looks like they're here to stay.

I'm all up for new skill lines, but no new classes please. Blizzard had this problem implementing new classes; each time you add a new class, you need to re-balance all the existing classes, which is an ongoing struggle that could take months or even years.

ESO has the unique opportunity to steer clear of new classes, and simply carry on adding new skill lines. That way, if a new skill line is overpowered, it won't matter as much; it could be tweaked over time with no serious ramifications.

TLDR; I'm all up for new skill lines, but I'm skeptical about new classes.

Edit; always manage to slip at least one typo in.

Classes doesnt fit ESO.. You get stuff like "you are a DK why are you dps you noob." Or "We only want templar healers" and so on.. But i would not mind a druid or necromancer skill tree :)

No, I do not want another class.

What I do want is more morphs and abilities that are classless and weaponless. I'd also like for guilds to have better abilities and the choice to be a bit more strategic. The most obvious one should be vampires/ww not having access to Fighters Guild abilites. Make our choices matter.

If we can be vampires and WWs, why not Deadra worshippers too? It would be cool if they would let us choose a Daedric Prince to serve (Molag Bal would not be an option, of course), and the world would react to this choice. Certain towns would be off limit, others would open up. Hostile NPCs might become friendly and vice versa. Fighters Guild could have very good counters, so it would have to be a difficult decision if one wanted to give those up for a new set.

It's just a dream, but I think it would be really damn nice.

They should add the ES class.

Existing classes wouldn't have access to spell crafting. The new ES class would. All the different current class abilities would be craftable via spell crafting.

Existing characters would have an option to convert their existing class to the new "ES" class. When they do so, they lose their existing class skill lines, but gain spell crafting skill equal to their highest leveled class line. They also automatically learn the crafted version of any class skill they had previously known.
