VR Exp -> Regular Exp?

Does anyone know if they plan to change VR xp into regular xp in patch 1.4? I know they wanted to release the VR changes slowly, and was wondering if anyone read if this was gonna happen.

✭✭✭✭✭You still get regular experience as you go through the VR zones, it just isn't displayed after reaching VR1 as your skills growth are still scaling off of experience gained. Other than changing Veteran ranks into Champion points, experience gains will probably remain the same for future calculations.0 -

Except they are eventually in phase 4+ when seasoned gear is finally introduced.

It does go on to say that it will replace the veteran system , but it doesn't mention anywhere that ranks are going and as I've said , I may be wrong.
But I'd like to hear it from a Dev or a director first, there is enough confusion.0 -

The whole process is quite confusing. In that statement which specifically refers to phase 2, veteran ranks remain. When all phases of the Champion system are rolled out, veteran ranks will no longer exist. That will most likely be after "seasoned" gear is implemented.
