VR Exp -> Regular Exp?

Does anyone know if they plan to change VR xp into regular xp in patch 1.4? I know they wanted to release the VR changes slowly, and was wondering if anyone read if this was gonna happen.

You still get regular experience as you go through the VR zones, it just isn't displayed after reaching VR1 as your skills growth are still scaling off of experience gained. Other than changing Veteran ranks into Champion points, experience gains will probably remain the same for future calculations.

Except this isn't happening, veteran ranks aren't going anywhere.

For the OP. Based on the road ahead I think the VP to XP change will occur in 1.5.

Except they are eventually in phase 4+ when seasoned gear is finally introduced.

"When we take away VR points, we will not take away VR ranks so that won’t affect itemization and the gear you can wear."

It does go on to say that it will replace the veteran system , but it doesn't mention anywhere that ranks are going and as I've said , I may be wrong.
But I'd like to hear it from a Dev or a director first, there is enough confusion.

The whole process is quite confusing. In that statement which specifically refers to phase 2, veteran ranks remain. When all phases of the Champion system are rolled out, veteran ranks will no longer exist. That will most likely be after "seasoned" gear is implemented.
