To walk on far shores quest.
Im on VR10.
The boss herself isnt hard. Its when she summons a ridiculous amounts of ads and then the archers come.

owyeah I remember that one, is it the final one of DC where you have to save the king in the redguard-dead realm thingie?
well first off the adds attack in waves, so stay back and let em come to you, secondly use stuns and gap closers on the archers, the melee will follow,
but I think this is the hard way, I found it easyer to just rush in the middle of them all, drop standard/solar prison, add some miss(cinderstorm)/dodge(blinding flashes) and aoe the sh*t out of em
(I did it on Dk and templar both pre-VR nerf, it was one of the harder fights indeed, I wiped a couple times before I got it right, but now after nerf I dont think it will be to hard anymore)

That would solve nothing. All they would do is shoot me in the water and if they dont kill me they would run off and the fight will restart.

Really, you should listen to Mr. Prime. It's a good hint. If you get it right they'll be queuing up to applaud your decision.

You do realize that this boss fight is just a flat terrain right? Hiding behind pillars does nothing because the hit is pre-determined. Meaning that if they release their arrow and I hide behind a pillar, the arrow will go through the pillar and hit me.

Of course I realise it, I've beaten it. Take the advice you've been given and it's a piece of cake - or continue being stubborn and gainsaying people who've done it and continue dying; your call.

You failed to realize that I already stated that I've beaten it. Also, last time I did something to try and cheese the boss, the Tharn turned invisible and started attacking me. So. Yeah....

Ah, you got the invisible Tharn bug - you didn't say thatI, fortunately, didn't. She's not supposed to do that.

l2p.
I'm having problems with a particular set of VR5 Gargoyles in Bangkori.. just can't get anywhere near beating one as a stamina build DW/Archer NB. Can't CC them, can't outrun them, they hit for anything between 400-800 dmg, I quickly run out of stamina for my bow attacks due to roll dodging, and breaking free.. so it's effectively a DPS race, and they out DPS me by a factor of 4 I think.
First none world boss mob I've not been able to handle solo..
Agree, Prime is right.. If you go at them they all come at one time , use the environment , its does help.. I completed it as a Templar prior to any fixes.. and no vampire/ww abilities..EinionYrth wrote: »SuraklinPrime wrote: »Use the environment, don't be afraid to get your feet wet.

You do realize that by going in the water and getting to the right spot the waves of mobs take their sweet time to go after you, giving you plenty of breathing space between killing mobs to work on the boss right? @SurlakinPrime gave you a lovely hint that makes this fight a piece of cake. If you had done it like he suggested, you could have easily beat it without needing to go vampire.EinionYrth wrote: »SuraklinPrime wrote: »Use the environment, don't be afraid to get your feet wet.
