Welcome to ESO post-VR10.
Again, welcome to MMOs versus single player RPGs... Not sure why you are still arguing.

Because you're insisting that this type of content doesn't belong in MMOs, several others show you're simply wrong. Group content is fine, a level-cap without any non-group content isn't.fromtesonlineb16_ESO wrote: »Except where this no 'casual' friendly content above VR10 those not wanting to spend their entire play time 'grouping up' simply to level up have no game left to play.frosth.darkomenb16_ESO wrote: »As the previous poster said, the gap in power is trivial, and under such system, casual players can keep up with the flow while hardcore players have means to be slightly ahead.

I want my time leveling and crafting legendary gear to mean something. No point even playing if I have to toss my time playing in the trash.
It's a glorified version of Gauntlet, if you derived enjoyment from it while you were playing then it meant something to you, that's about it; let's not kid ourselves that we're doing anything but pissing away time here.

The 'G' in MMORPG doesn't stand for group.

Hi all,
I rarely am one for rage-posts and in most cases I'm a fairly peaceful forum lurker, however this recent news of the incoming increase to VR ranks has really effected my desire to play this game any longer.
Many of us have already spoken our minds in other threads on this topic however I think it's important that ZOS understands how strongly some of us feel about this topic.
I will be cancelling my subscription if I feel that I am in any way forced to grind gear and/or further VR levels to competitively PvP.
What will you be doing and why?
There's no such thing as an 'MMO', there is no noun in that acronym which is simply a contraction of the full one .. please learn English grammar .. the full acronym is MMORPG where 'G' is the noun game.fromtesonlineb16_ESO wrote: »Because you're insisting that this type of content doesn't belong in MMOs, several others show you're simply wrong. Yet one of the M's stands for Multiplayer. This is not an RPG, you're not suposed to be able to play everything alone and 90% of the game is solo play (which is much more than many MMOs).
Rejoice with what you have and if it's not enough, do as you said and unsub.
There are a lot of people posting in this thread and elsewhere who aren't quitting, but who also are not happy with the change. This poll did not ask the right question. The other poll is much more accurate.DogFaceInBananaPatch wrote: »So now that this poll is winding down an accurate reading of the results are:
66 people claim they will unsubscribe but probably will not, though this number is nearly 100% of those not happy with the game.
487 is a miniscule fraction of those that will continue to play being the true number of votes would come from those playing the game and not coming to the forums.
82 people wanted to see the top number.

Yes, the second 'M' stands for multiplayer, I see them everywhere I go in the game and often form loose groups with them at Dolmens, etc.
You can interact with a massive number of other players entirely without forming groups, there is no implicit requirement to 'group' up in an MMORPG.
Something isn't right simply because Google shows large numbers like you are illiterately using wrong English: ignoring facts doesn't make them no longer facts. Please also note that this is the second time in this forum that you say "An MMO is a wrong term and a contraction of MMORPG and you should learn grammar", it's also the second time I have to educate you when you clearly could have done the search yourself in google. It's quickly getting old (guess it won't be old much longer since you claim you'll unsub when update 4 hits, "fingers crossed"). Please learn to read and do a simple google query.
Multiplayer means engaging in content with other players, interacting with or against them. They are not just there to "make the game feel alive" so it's normal to expect that some content will have to be done along with those players, you're just delusional if you think otherwise.
Curious for those who voted yes, is this also your first MMO?
Every mmo eventually raises level to keep all the whiny max level players from whining, leaving ot growing bored.

New content does not have to mean a level cap increase.Venereous44 wrote: »Isn't this a better problem than them not adding new content fast enough?
