What in the hells bells are the conceptual and leadership teams doing over at ZOS?

You guys keep adding filler garbage, ignore core game mechanic issues, and now more VR levels to grind out, yes grind out, since VR ranks and Cadwells nonsense were garbage to begin with.
  • No heavy armor fixes
  • No true Stamina build fixes
  • Asinine Bow changes
  • No Werewolf fixes - at frickin all, wtf, seriously its been since... release?
  • New weapon enhancements that honestly make me feel like you think I will get distracted by "ohhhh, shiny!"
  • Absolutely no PvP love what so ever (unless the gold in bags is like 50g-100g a pop or more). No PvP exp love.

I am tired of complaining about the direction of this game and how it continues to ignore customer feedback. We have no voice... other that cancel subs, but if we announce this, threads get locked and we get warnings. Fight the power... with our sticks coated in pillows...

I still haven't even managed to hit v12 yet and I agree...I thought the level cap was 50 and I could begin to enjoy end game content..,.LOL WRONG. Let the rest of the content grind begin and go back in time for some reason!

I could add to that list with Zenimax's inability to bring the NB class up to DK/Soc lvls (while still nerfing the NB class ironically)

I also agree that I thought ESO was going to be similar to DAoC where vet levels would add smaller abilities, not some endless gear grind ala WoW.

Hmm, NBs are one of the most sought after classes in the game for Trials, along w/ DKs atm.

While I would also love to see some fixes to NBs (I have 2 of them currently), it's a little silly to say that ZOS hasn't done anything to bring them up to speed.

Life is pretty good for NBs right now.

If you're talking specifically about stamina-based NBs, that's definitely not a NB-only issue.

While the tone of the OP is a little over the top, he does have a point.

Heavy armor, stamina builds, werewolves... All these issues have gone on for months now. The incremental approach has become glacial. You need to try some decisive action.

And fix the perma CC stun lock and Templar mana management while you're at it please.

In regard to the PvP point: Based on how some of the polls pan out it these forums, the majoirty of players are far more PvE orientated and only occasionally, if at all play PvP. I'm not saying PvP isn't important to those people who play it (PvP players certainly seem to be vocal about it) but it is probably a lower priority than fixing up PvE issues.

Maybe I need to clarify.......a melee/DW NB and not a skirt wearing resto staff NB is in need of help. In my experience, DK and Sorc are all that the high end groups want for that high AoE DPS.

As a NB I cannot stand toe to toe with either a Sorc or DK. If I don't surprise kill them in the first 2-3 secs they will pull of a few simple maneuvers to negate most of my attacks.

Trying to play a NB as the class was described is at best challenging and often times infuriating.

Again, none of your issues are specific to NBs. They are issues w/ stamina-based builds in general.

A high-end group that doesn't want a Destro / Resto NB is probably not nearly as "high-end" as they think they are. But that's not what we're talking about, is it? What you're talking about is the failure of stamina builds to keep up w/ magicka-based ones.

After all, Sorcs don't have any sort of amazing AoE baked into their class. They are spamming Impulse just like you are able to. In fact, NB AoE is every bit as great (better, imo) than a Sorc any day of the week.

One of my NBs is stamina-based w/ dual 2 handers. The other is a dual resto-staff wielder in light armor. They are both extremely fun to play, but the resto NB is far and away more efficient.

I also have 2 Sorcs; one is a DW / 2h stamina-based Sorc, the other is a more traditional dual Destro staff magicka-based Sorc. The magicka-based Sorc is, again, far more efficient at DPS.

NBs themselves are in a good place, and will be even better when certain abilities are fixed.

Stamina-based ANYTHING, outside of ganking people in Cyrodiil, is the issue.

So if you want changes, REAL changes, stop asking for NB buffs and start asking for buffs to stamina weapons and builds. THEN you can have your DW rogue archetype character. Otherwise, you're just asking them to make Nightstaves even better.

Your third mistake is to not use the Feedback option ingame. Instead you've chosen to whine on the forums, in what basically comes down to "I'm quitting if this and this and this don't get fixed!".

You can't talk about fixes in panel discussions at marketing events. You can, but new stuff is where it's at for that. People who have never played the game care about stamina builds, specific PvP problems, etc.

These people go to marketing events more often than they patch the game. Do the math.

    - Add a straight damage resistance buff to passives for Heavy Armor, and then make each armor line ability require 5/5 of that armor to use. Finally, double the melee damage bonus. Wham, heavy armor is a contender.
    - Nerf light armor passives (which they are doing). Stamina builds, if you take only them, are awesome right now. It's the simple fact that magicka builds are still capable of soloing group delves and VR dungeons that is why things are still unbalanced. We're at a point where they just need to go ahead and tone down light armor passives and stave light/heavy attacks. I think ZOS realizes this, and is starting that trend.
    - Bow is still the lowest DPS out there, but we have high utility and when used right can avoid damage entirely. Any changes to bow, in my opinion, are moot at this point, though the lower cost will make us stamina cheap after recent medium armor changes.
    - Werewolf is ... well, borked. Lots of talk on this subject. Transformation costs too much, and takes up an ultimate slot which really is a bummer. If it was a special slot all it's own, maybe (that way those players could have two bars). If it wasn't so expensive, maybe. But even when you change, the output is often negligible. See better conversations in these very forums for more.
    - Bring on new enchantments. As long as they are craftable. And traits. More content is a plus to me.
    - Didn't we get a PvP experience boost in the last update? Seems like Cyrodiil is sitting pretty, but having more issues with bugs than content at the moment.

Ruze Aulus. Mayor of Dhalmora. Archer, hunter, assassin. Nightblade.
Gral. Mountain Terror. Barbarian, marauder, murderer. Nightblade.
Na'Djin. Knight-Blade. Knight, vanguard, defender. Nightblade.

    XBOX NA
Ruze is a veteran of the PC Beta, lived through the year one drought, survived the buy-to-play conversion, and has stepped foot in the hells known as Craglorn. He mained a nightlbade when nightblades weren't good, and has never worn a robe. He converted from PC during the console betas, and hasn't regretted it a moment since.

He'd rank ESO:TU (in it's current state) a 4.8 out of 5, loving the game almost entirely.

This is an multiplayer game. I should be able to log in, join a dungeon, join a battleground, queue for a dolmen or world boss or delve, teleport in, play for 20 minutes, and not worry about getting kicked, failing to join, having perfect voice coms, or being unable to complete content because someone's lagging behind. Group Finder and matchmaking is broken. Take a note from Destiny and build a system that allows from drop-in/drop-out functionality and quick play.

Have to agree with @PlagueMonk here. NB may be ok for PVE but it's crap for PvP. If they fixed shadowcloak to actually WTF make the NB disappear and freaking stay unseen for 2.5 seconds that would be a nice start. As is for the magicka expended it should trump magelight and actually remove the multiple dots it's supposed to when morphed.

Fix that one thing and 90% of NB QQ would disappear.

As I figured, you are talking about skirt and staff using NBs which I was not. I am referring to the NB SPECIFIC SKILLS. Our NB skills lack a decent AoE, Sorc and DK can out DPS us, we have virtually no group CC, what individual CC we have is easily negated with a roll out (and in PvE bosses are now immune to ALL our CC abilities), we have to split our damage between spell and weapon because our few necessary NB skills (like TS and devour soul) are spell based, and I could continue but will stop there.

Sure, I could pick up a staff and wear a skirt and use the few good NB skills as utility while doing most of my damage by staff but that is NOT the type of NB I signed up for. I'm a 70% magicka, 30% stamina based Assassin/DW NB amd am not wanted in high end groups.

So trying to play a NB AS DESCRIBED (i.e. being a med armor single target stealthy assassin) is the problem and is not being addressed. (and yes, part of that is stamina but not completely). The traditional NB is NOT in a "good" place. sorry.

Has anyone of you played lately?

If you have, have you looked at heavy and medium armor passives? See any new things?

Zeni havn't posted anything about it, but both heavy and medium got some pretty damn good changes to the passives.

I have 5 heavy and 2 medium. Stamina isn't as much of a problem anymore, with a set and stamina block reduction ring. I break free of CC almost at no cost. I regen all attributes like hell, both in dungeons and pvp.

I am not a good pvper, but I survive a HELL a lot more now, then I did just a few weeks ago, and that's not my personal skill. Its my armor and blocking/rolling and breaking CC.

As for bows, I've been killing plenty people with it in Cyro, and I just started using a bow a few weeks ago. People who stand still and let me just shoot em with a big long shot. Bows does serious damage, but if your target move....

I do not know where this sudden damage of my bow comes from. I do know it is NOT me being good.

Either it is suppose to crit a lot, or Bow Snipe attack is not working as intended and doing way bigger crits then it should. OR, it supposed to do big damage if your target don't move, block, roll or defend themselves.

I am Vet 5. Bow skill 43. Got a purple set bow Vet 4.

If anyone can explain my damage with bow, please do. I don't have a single crit enchant and using the lord mundus stone.

This, sadly, appears to be the case. By that I mean, they have lost touch with their customers, and are intent on continuing along a course that is heading for disaster.

    But it's worse.

We also have no idea what they're doing, because all of the recent communications from Wheeler, Sage et al have been completely disingenuous. It appears to boil down to "we're going to keep trying things, making sure to avoid anything that resembles what is actually needed for the game, because we can. After all, tinkering with the game is fun for us."

Like I've said elsewhere, to thundering silence, they don't care, as long as the things they say attract marginally more new subs than they chase away existing ones.

So, here's my advice, tried and true. Lie back and think of England.
