It's been a week and I still can't even play.

The server side error that is making a fairly high number of people's games crash after selecting your character doesn't seem to have even been acknowledged as a problem. We paying customers expect better, even if you're going to credit us back the game time.

It will be 8 days without being able to load into the game with a character today... which is definitely not good enough. I can get over the little bugs that are sometimes comical, but not this. The annoying thing is, whenever we ask support, we get the same 'we know the problem and we're trying to fix it' response, yet we haven't seen anything announced that it is even an issue.

PLEASE begin to treat your paying customers with some respect, and make this your top priority- at the moment it doesn't even seem to be that important to you. Your players not being able to even play the game has got to be a #1 issue... And no, the two patches and maintenance still did not fix anything.

    I have the same problem. a very sympathetic support employee told me if I was so eager to play that will download the American version with the same user.
    I feel insulted.
    took months playing, and I've paid for something, not to start a new game months later.

    is not a matter of money, it is a matter of seriously, of professionalism.

    want serious answers and concrete solutions.

    in my case say it is a problem of binding to a guild. I joined the guild about two weeks before the patch. not backup before installing a new patch?

    Patch 4 is coming, it honestly scary, do not see it as something exciting.

    If someone can kick me from my trade guild, Twilight Market, on EU server, you'll be my savior and that will fix this issue for me

    I am Having the exact same problem had one response which ill post below. The clincher for me was the fact that my son has an account in his own flat his account plays fine (hes recently just taken up eso and hasn't yet joined any guilds).His Hardware, Graphics etc is Geforce mine Ati. So whilst there i tried my account and low and behold stuck just after the character screen like everyone else. Here’s the reply to my support email, I have sent various emails subsequently to Customer support and have had no response. I very much appreciate Customer services is a thankless job but surely people not being able to access a service they are paying for is a top priority and should come with good communication and full transparency.(Support email below)

    It's just ridiculous how it's now been over a week and they haven't even officially announced it as an issue, or that they're ACTUALLY doing anything to fix it.

    A SOLUTION HAS BEEN FOUND! Though maybe temporary, a player has found a solution. Please visit this thread on page 4 to correct this error. I'm trying it now. Will post whether or not it works.

    i cancelled ! have same problem and lost same ammount of time as yourself.and the answer from support was some copy and paste job.
    i swear whoever replied to my email just ignored what was actually wirtten by me and pasted in his copy and paste job.
    not good enough - i on the other hand would be happy if they refund me the game time .
    but for £8 a month i expect a lot better than this .
