It is getting ridiculous. Nightblades are too powerful, being able to slip into invisibility without restriction upon any whim.
1. All actions (such as setting up a Siege Weapon) invoke a "timer." 5 seconds for a siege weapon. This leaves a person vulnerable while setting up siege weapons, and helps reduce the brainless tactic of oil pots everywhere.
2. When invisible is reused within 30 seconds of itself, it should cost 2x.
They start invisible, stealth up an oil pot, hit everyone with it, then right back to invisible again. Occasionally you will see a person "flicker" coming out of Invis long enough to attack and retreat.
Bolt Escape was nerfed, Bat Swarm was nerfed and now Nightblades need it. This is a fix.

Stealth is not necessary for NB to do damage on the battlefield. I myself usually don't use stealth for purposes of killing, since I play caster NB and I stand in the middle of the battlefield (but behind the tanks). However, if you're playing as a bow-wielding ganker, then stealth adds a lot to your damage.
However, the best function of Dark Cloak is that it removes DOT effects on you. There's so many fire damage effects on the battlefield that it would be silly to ignore the function of Dark Cloak altogether.

See how they like it.
This is not a loaded question, i'm just asking because there are a lot of NB's here and I need to make an alt at some point.
Is it possible to make a strong PvP NB build that does not use cloak or any stealth? I'm talking middle of the battlefield, out in the daylight, killing and living kind of PvP. Or is every function of the NB entirely dependent on stealthing to work as a class.
You can but it's sub optimal
Sub optimal in that you are more likely to die due to the lack of the possibility of stealth escape, or that you may kill less,? edit insert. Or that the class is so depend on stealth that it needs it to do both?

Fine, then BE should break if you have a DOT on you.

pls no. don't start that here. go to the other topic for it.If anything needs to be nerfed it's the night's silence set...If you're a vampire NB in the nights silence set with concealed weapon you can hunt down someone on a light horse at max speed.

Personally I like when another NB pulls it on me, I like to anticipate where they will go.

Not to derail the thread but I agree with you. It's just a lame tactic/mechanic and ya, I use it all time too but just doesn't feel right. How does it not burn me when I pour it at my own feet? What they should nerf is oil pots (not NBs) - they are complete cheese in their current implementation. Oil pots should have a longer set up time for the amount of damage they do and the area they cover.
Sneaking in the open field and splashing a group with oil could never happen on a real battlefield. Oil should be reserved for chokepoints, which a longish setup time would ensure.
Its bugged like mentioned before but when it does work, a detect pot/magelight will break it straight up. Any DoT will pop you out aswell. L2P before you go calling for nerfs
