Simply because most medium armor dps users don't do that much damage. There are some that do, but he didn't want to take a chance because he didn't know you.Im trying to figure out why someone would rather continue to spam chat looking for a dps instead of taking a player in medium armor. It went down like this.

People are unimaginative and stubborn. My guildie remembers when people were saying the sorc was trash, then he laughed all the way to the bank when it turned out he had planned the op sorc build well in advance. Same with my templar friend. He's roasting DKs in PvP daily.
I mean, even pro and semi pro gamers get trashed when they go against the meta they themselves established. Don't let things like this get to you.
That sounds good and all, on paper. Still, all it really proves is that you were able to get the achievement. Now I am not saying this is what happened, but you COULD have simply been carried by a good group to get that, easilly as having a viable stamina build.
I challenge anyone to address the issues I raise in this thread. ALL class skills scale off spell damage and magicka. I don't care how you slice the pie, melee/stamina users get the crumbs.
Magicka users with light armor and staff can dump all their resource points into magicka and spell power and max both their class and weapon abilities, while stamina/weapon damage users have to split and end up gimping both.
Medium armor is nice for weapon crit, but you can get as much or more from magic crit sets and one Mage's Guild ability.
At the end of the day, achievements that require a group matter less than build-for-build DPS numbers. Right now, melee/stamina/weapon damage builds can't touch magicka/spell power builds for DPS, even after the latest 1.3.3 changes.
Go to a site like Tamriel Foundry where people parse the combat logs and collect actual DATA on this to see for yourself.
I'm not saying don't play the way you want. You should. I am still stubbornly refusing to give up on my DW/Bow medium armor NB. But the sad fact is, we are badly gimped by the class mechanics.

look over this build and tell me where it falls short?.... It rocks and you will never have a resource issue. You don't always have to conform or be the top DPS as long as you can obey mechanics and not become a liability.
