Well. Since it's illegal to PLACE. A camp there, it would be logical to get banned for PORTING to an illegally placed camp, would it not?
Porting to such a camp probably should not be bannable, as the guy doing the porting usually (i mean it in a general sense) has no way to know whether the camp was placed there legally or not.
However getting behind a gate that is currently locked to place that camp in the firstplace should be bannable. As the one doing it definitely knows that he's doing someting that was not intended.

And how are you supposed to know it has been placed illegally?
Say a player just logged in. He sees a camp. He might assume the gate was recently closed. He takes the advantage of the camp to get to a skyshard he was trying to collect. Should he be banned?
If you make a rule for banning, it nees to take all possible scenarios into account, so that you won't end up banning innocent players.

Lol any camp behind a closed gate is suspect. There is no way 20+ players all happened to log on at once and just happen to notice a camp. It strains credulity, seriously.

Pretty much this.Well. Since it's illegal to PLACE. A camp there, it would be logical to get banned for PORTING to an illegally placed camp, would it not?
You assume too much. Not everybody would even know you can have a "illegally placed camp" to begin with. People see a camp , they just use it and that is it.

Umm, they were playing for several hours before the camp went up. We saw them in game. We saw the ap hacking through the gate. I guess cheaters defend cheaters. Sorry your idols got busted.
Dude, I already explained the situation. They were either knowingly participating in the hack or tragically stupid not to realize that it was place by a hacker. I don't believe the latter is possible, having watched them play.

Umm, they were playing for several hours before the camp went up. At no point during that period was the gate down. We saw them in game. We saw the AD hacking through the gate. Pretty open and shut case. I guess cheaters defend cheaters. Sorry your idols got busted.
So, playing for several hours, seeing a camp mysteriously pop up behind a gate that's been closed all day, and merrily porting to camp is peachy? Ok, I think I got my answer.
@ZOS_AlexDHello everyone. If there's ever a question as to what you believe to be permissible or not in-game, you can report the incident or the players in question and we will investigate each report fully and take the appropriate actions. Reporting incidents in-game is the preferred method for reporting violations, as the in-game reports contain important information that help in the investigation process.
See our Support article for more information on reporting players in-game.
lol people would probably take you more seriously if you werent crying wolf everyday, like you do in zone chat about bots and spies in pvp
