I don't think it's personal, @Islyn. If it hadn't been you, it would have been someone else. I was quite happy with my armor pre-1.3.3, too, and I'm still not happy that I can't change shields etc. But the end product works for me because, well, I think I'm better at choosing armor colors than ZOS is. And you clearly are.

Nobody likes being laughed at, whatever the reason, but these clowns can't seem to resist the opportunity. When it happens to me, I try to just shake it off. And many posters are trying to apologise, in their own broken way. Eventually, you'll laugh about this, too, and that will be a good day.

I can't believe that ZOS anticipated the Pepto Bismol/Blueberry combination, either. However, there are lots of colors very much like your original. Remember, too, that you don't have to change all of the colors. I notice that the deep blue is the same, just that pink/salmon monstrosity. Perhaps you can find that deep red and change just the effected parts of the effected pieces; I know that I have two or three dark reds in my palate that look pretty much like your originals.

And yes, I agree, it's a pain that you now have to do this.

And ZOS, lay off the stupid censorship, okay? Don't be so eager to scrub everything in the name of safety making everything bland.

I have 46 colors right now at level 10. There's a range, but no reds, no blacks and only one dark gray that actually looks more brown.

And while I'm not dissatisfied in any way; the OP is clearly saying that the color she wants is not there. People keep saying "dye it" but I'm saying that may not be a possible solution because she may not have access to the color she wants to use. She liked the armor the way it was, she wants it that color, and that color is not available.

Which kinda sucks for her, right? But that is the gist of what some people are saying. (Oh, and that IS exaggeration.)

Well, really, what else can ya do about it? Yes, it sucks that it was changed without her consent to look like she rolled in salmon entrails. I'm also a female gamer who is overly preoccupied with the appearance of her gear, and I sympathize, I really do. But in all likelihood, ZOS is not going to fix this.

So the options you're left with are:

- live with it and hate it/get used to it
- dye it a similar color
- dye it a new color
- Keep petitioning ZOS to restore the original color or to add a dye of the same color (though perhaps this would be better expressed through in-game feedback)

What else are we supposed to say?

You earned your armor the hard way. You just want it to look right! I can sympathize with that.

the problem with "just go dye it" is that anything but plate is a wash so it doesn't actually do anything but tint the armor. And any tint that doesn't mesh with the current color of the armor gets funky coloring.

I am fuming atm. The dyes are crappy, but it's even crappier that I am forced to dye my armor another crappy color to compensate for it becoming fuchsia/pink

in Web and Computer colors (hexcode) Magenta and Fuchsia are the same. #FF00FF

Granted, in real world applications like printing and fabric, magenta is redder, while Fuchsia is on the purple side.

Either way, my Orc Sorc is now wearing Falinesti Green, Atmoran Bronze, and Cold Harbor Ash Black

good point, there is room in this world for all types of killers. Why stereotype and limit what you can or can not do as a mass murderer, I suppose. I'm more traditionally minded when it comes to slaughtering people, however.
