Because I do not think it looks awesome. (??)I think it looks awesome. Why are you complaining?

I am beginning to strongly suspect that a lot of people commenting on this are not wearing crafted set bonus trials gear which is upgraded, enchanted etc. and do not understand where I am coming from at all.

It's not as easy as that. It's not as if you can select the color you want with a hex code or even a color range. You have to unlock colors by achievements. So my level 10 toon which has gotten every achievement available to her in questing still doesn't have a scarlet or a blood red or a black.
And while the colors tell you what achievements are needed to unlock them, many are tied to PvP achievements or other group achievements. The point is, not every color is available!
And since the dyed armor is then bound to the player, you can't even have someone dye something for you and give it to you.
So the OP may have an option between a color she doesn't like and one she likes only slightly better - which really isn't a choice at all.

true; however, the OP complained about how they hate PINK. if the OP stuck with only talking about how "fantabulous" their original color was, then i'd concede your point

She ABSOLUTELY did say in a post that she liked the specific way it WAS, and additionally this is a set she spent some piece of time working at getting etc.
Whether she MIGHT have wanted to dye it today after the patch and in fact can dye it, has no relation to her having all the achievements she in fact needs in order to dye it BACK very similar to its original. While a lot of us are jazzed about the dyes finally coming in - there are also many who like the muted browns and various green tones etc and feel its more in line with their ESO 'setting'.
That is her point...she wants to have what she had originally and THEN to decide or have the CHOICE to decide to run to one of the dye stations, experiment and/or see if what she MIGHT WANT TO DYE IT TO aligns with what achievements she's gotten or if she might have to make goals of heading out to get other achievements.
Really. Very simple to understand, heh. I also wonder if the whole 'she' thing wasn't brought in here whether the degradation and insinuations would be exactly the same toward an assumed 'male' gamer. Not liking the fact that the armor one wore yesterday is no longer the same today is not a gender-biased argument.
I hope the op can in fact find some appealing dye colors for her armor which she does have achievements already earned for.
(*) GL Islyn...you've earned that set, you deserve to have it the colors you want like everyone else.

Im just curious because people were throwing out this level 10 thing.
