Is there anyway to get notifications when posts are edited my moderators? I had one edited and didn't know till I went back and was re-reading something in the thread and noticed it.
I thought I had edited myself enough, but guess not.
Hey there, @Mitharus. When we edit users' posts, we typically send them a PM to explain why we did so. That said, occasionally if we're only removing something very minor, we'll instead leave a note about what we edited in the thread. If you do not see a moderation note on the edited post, feel free to send me a PM with a link to the post, and we'll investigate what happened.
@ZOS_TristanK, thanks for the response. There was a reason for it.
But, I had edited myself and used '*' to mark out all but one character of a word. Without knowing that the entire thing was edited out, I would have keep doing the same thing in future posts, continually breaching the forum rules.
I'm guessing it was me editing the word ('*') instead of just letting the filter get it?
Hey again, @Mitharus. As said in our Code of Conduct, "purposefully circumventing our forum profanity filter or otherwise cursing or using profanity is not permitted on our forums." In most cases, we will simply edit the post and leave a note saying it was edited for profanity. We hope this helps clear things up further!
