It should have been left restricted to pickpocketing/murdering fluff NPCs.
Not looking forward to clicking on a crate and seeing a big red "STEAL" on some honeycomb.

Just kill the NPC who owns the container first and then you won't be stealing...

But I don't want to get mixed up in the justice system just to be ganked by some PvP weenie. I'm now quite sure that killing an NPC would amount to murder, and would be actionable by guards.

I was kidding really. I am sure that the upstanding citizen will be able to loot crates and such in dungeons and whenever else and that won't be flagged as stealing. If they do it like in previous titles, it's only stealing when the container has an assigned NPC owner.

You can loot (steal) as much as you want. Just don't get caught.
I'd say it'll be like the Skyrim system. Some things will be red and others white, where red indicates its stealing but also as said has a gold value.
Risk v's reward.
Also I can't wait to find that bloody NPC that spammed the same line of chat over and over in the early zone and finally get to shut him up
There is no "under water" in ESO. I've glitched below the water surface several times and there is absolutely nothing down there.Blackwidow wrote: »No underwater swimming.
In fact, there's not even water down there.
You can just walk for hours without drowning.
Also, you can walk under deep water without ever getting attacked by slaughterfish, which allows you to just walk off the map completely.
The game has no logic what-so-ever with regards to anything "under water" ...
;-)

As with almost all of the new MMO's now... Seem to avoid creating an underwater so they don't have to do underwater dungeons. FFXIV doesnt even have swimming at all.
Maybe they just don't know how to. Age of Conan was the last MMO i played with some pretty damn good underwater graphics. Cannot be reproduced apparently.
I voted no because there was not a maybe option.....I really like some of the things, but other things seem confusing to me....
here is an example:
A guy on the panel said that "we know people really like leveling up their character and then going into other factions". I'm not sure this is true because most of what i have seen people really don't like to break out of their faction to finish vet leveling.
Another thing i didn't like is to me it seemed like everything was all cinematic sweeps...which to me sorta felt that these things could be YEARS down the road....on top of that they were clear to say "these things are not set and could change"..."we don't want to commit to a date/time".
Overall i thought there was some really cool things, and it seems that spellcrafting will be available to everyone...so YES it is cool, but while somethings are starting soon it really felt that other aspects (even someone mentioning update 5) before we can expect to see most of these to even start coming around.
so I am on the fence...was this just some big HYPE parade to try to sway people to join now (and combat a large negative vibe that is forming) and sub until the changes actually happen? Are these things that we will see in the next few months? OR the next 2 years?
SO most of this still leaves me with questions and a wait and see feeling.
Yes, but if they release it fast, before October.

I suppose as long as I stay honest it won't be a problem!!

But not being able to loot containers for crafting items? Where are we supposed to find them now, especially provisioning items?
