Are you please with the upcoming changes to ESO

Most of them. But I'm iffy on the justice system now, if it restricts free world looting.

It should have been left restricted to pickpocketing/murdering fluff NPCs.

Not looking forward to clicking on a crate and seeing a big red "STEAL" on some honeycomb.

Just kill the NPC who owns the container first and then you won't be stealing...

But I don't want to get mixed up in the justice system just to be ganked by some PvP weenie. I'm now quite sure that killing an NPC would amount to murder, and would be actionable by guards.

Very much, yes. The Justice System looks awesome on paper, and it could be the one feature that really sets ESO apart from all the other mmorpg's. Really looking forward to everything they teased. What sucks is that there's no ETA for all that cool stuff, but my guess is that most are going to be part of the expansion, so it's going to take a while. We'll see.

I was kidding really. I am sure that the upstanding citizen will be able to loot crates and such in dungeons and whenever else and that won't be flagged as stealing. If they do it like in previous titles, it's only stealing when the container has an assigned NPC owner.

Yes, it looks like there are some exciting times ahead, looking forward to it.
Still not quite sure about the answer given in the Q&A about whether the spellcrafting adds to your skills permanently, or is just a one off consumable, but I was getting distracted by the lovely Gina, so I may have missed it...

    I'd recommend a better poll:

    Yes
    Mostly yes
    Neutral
    Mostly no
    No

As it stands, it is not a great poll.

You can loot (steal) as much as you want. Just don't get caught.
I'd say it'll be like the Skyrim system. Some things will be red and others white, where red indicates its stealing but also as said has a gold value.

Also I can't wait to find that bloody NPC that spammed the same line of chat over and over in the early zone and finally get to shut him up :D

Absolutely. I can't wait to see these new things.

In particular I'm really happy about the Champion system and the Spell Creation system. I loved seeing the new armors and weapons sets. The new solo PvE zone looks fantastic and I can't wait to join the Dark Brotherhood and Thieves Guild.

In all honesty, it doesn't do much for me, but that's ok too. Far too much effort directed at what seems to be grouping activities, which just don't work for me.

Would love to see a LOT more zones of PvE content with more quests. The timetable doesn't even look like they will tackle the 1 solo zone they are adding until if the far distant future.

Well, I might be jumping the gun, of course; but it will kind of suck to just wind up having to give up trying to loot anything in towns completely, just to avoid the hassle of becoming an inadvertent thief. I'd rather not see that happen, which is why I kind of wish they had restricted it to fluff NPCs, and their pockets, and maybe whatever pack or something is right next to them; not your general crates/containers that sit around in shops and houses. And what about furniture? I've only ever found recipes and motifs in food crates and furniture.

There is no "under water" in ESO. I've glitched below the water surface several times and there is absolutely nothing down there.
In fact, there's not even water down there.

You can just walk for hours without drowning.
Also, you can walk under deep water without ever getting attacked by slaughterfish, which allows you to just walk off the map completely.

The game has no logic what-so-ever with regards to anything "under water" ...
    ;-)

As with almost all of the new MMO's now... Seem to avoid creating an underwater so they don't have to do underwater dungeons. FFXIV doesnt even have swimming at all.

Maybe they just don't know how to. Age of Conan was the last MMO i played with some pretty damn good underwater graphics. Cannot be reproduced apparently.

I wanted to vote 'Not Sure', because I think that there were some great ideas mentioned, but I for one can't vote without knowing which ones will actually make their way into the game and which ones are 'vaporware', and also how the implementation could go. Some really great ideas have looked like absolute crap due to implementation, at least from past experience with other MMO's.

Hmm. Well, WoW tried it with Vash'jir; it's really too bad they scrapped the end-raid for that zone, really. An underwater raid would be interesting (especially in LFR, heh.)

But the reaction to it was kind of mixed; visually, it was awesome. I even found it more fun and interesting than Hyjal, even if it is a little more railroaded, quest and story-wise. But sometimes folks had problem with the three-dimensional aspect of underwater combat. I even had difficulty with that on some characters, and I can't see distance or things like that IRL, so it really shouldn't have been a problem.

I don't see WoW trying this again, and I doubt other developers will try to out-Vashj'ir Vash'jir, if it seemed like it was more trouble to make than was appreciated in the end.

I don't like the idea of not being able to loot cabinets, desks etc. anymore. That's the only thing I don't like though. I love the idea of spellcrafting, I love the idea of a Darkness Falls - type dungeon in Cyrodiil, and I love that they're looking to improve weapon skills.

But not being able to loot containers for crafting items? Where are we supposed to find them now, especially provisioning items?

I voted no because there was not a maybe option.....I really like some of the things, but other things seem confusing to me....
    here is an example:
A guy on the panel said that "we know people really like leveling up their character and then going into other factions". I'm not sure this is true because most of what i have seen people really don't like to break out of their faction to finish vet leveling.

Another thing i didn't like is to me it seemed like everything was all cinematic sweeps...which to me sorta felt that these things could be YEARS down the road....on top of that they were clear to say "these things are not set and could change"..."we don't want to commit to a date/time".

Overall i thought there was some really cool things, and it seems that spellcrafting will be available to everyone...so YES it is cool, but while somethings are starting soon it really felt that other aspects (even someone mentioning update 5) before we can expect to see most of these to even start coming around.

so I am on the fence...was this just some big HYPE parade to try to sway people to join now (and combat a large negative vibe that is forming) and sub until the changes actually happen? Are these things that we will see in the next few months? OR the next 2 years?

SO most of this still leaves me with questions and a wait and see feeling.

This is exactly how I was feeling too, I gave it a yes for now but it definitely has me with A LOT of questions that won't be answered for awhile so will have to wait and see.

That's incredibly unrealistic. All of the things mentioned are more content/updates then would be smart to add within that time frame. Business wise and on the technical side.

If all these things happen within the next year or so I'll be incredibly happy and will continue to play this game too much.

How much will we have to disadvantage ourselves by trying hard to stay honest, though?

You'll still be able to sneak around town and steal things. You just have to be careful not to get caught.

Plus, there's tons of stuff like that in dungeons that you can easily loot. I would imagine it works the same way as TES single player games. The guards won't care if you steal from criminals.
