Should the disco ball be removed from Inner Light?

    Yes, the ball is annoying.

To those talking about it breaking stealth - the power breaks stealth, not the disco ball. No one would lose that ability if the ball was gone. Also, the guy that said it's nice to know when the enemy has it - you can't see it active on enemies, only allies (when it doesn't bug out).

I would prefer they just stick with the cool glowey eyes.

First, bacon cause if this is the biggest issue you face in the game then there is nothing to worry about.

Second, as one who often uses Inner Light, I have never once thought the game would be so much better without the visual effect and have not heard one person I was grouped with who had issues with it either. This is such a small thing and another reason for nerfing the ability to create polls.

Seems like it is pretty important since the effect is giving players migraines and eye strain. People on these forums threaten to quit over far more trivial reasons.

again sadly a pull with to few options to pull from, had to chose NO

but its a No, but make the ball either a different way so people still can see I use that skill on me, its only fair thats its a major deal in fights, or make it smaller

It is very annoying! All around you turn to blue and it hurts my eyes haha.
You could remove the bloom of it and do a small ball with no or a little glow, it would be much better!

    1) noone else can see it, so no "indication that the buff's up" in PvP for you dummies

    2) your freaking arms are glowing blue, WHY THE HECK do you still need a giant ball of blinding light to notice you have the buff active?

    3) ball takes up half the screen if you don't play zoomed out to max or in 1st person

    4) how in the heck does a giant light ball shining dead into your eyes can help you "see" anything? More like burns out your eyes until you see nothing at all

So you would like to see the present effect removed for something different.
    Then why vote no?

    1) Jeeeeez. How many times must it be explained to those of you who never PvP. You can see it on enemy players at all times (unless it bugs which does need to be fixed). Dummies indeed.

    2) At a distance that's not enough

    3) Crit goes up 20%. Suck it up. That's the only price you have to pay for this massive boon.

    4) Aaaaw. Don't use it then. It's a choice you have to face. There has to be a big disincentive to using this skill because it's very powerful. That ball is excellent design IMO.

People want all positives and no offsets. If the ball gets removed then it shouldn't break stealth and it does half the crit. Fair trade I think. You still have the inner-glow so we can see who has a crit bonus but no ball = no breaky stealthy. For some reason I've been told you can't have your cake and eat it too. I don't understand the point of cakes if that's the case but if it's true... you can't have your stealth breaker and have it be invisible too.

Yes, please please please let us turn off the silly orbiting disco ball, and while you're at it please remove the glowing eyes effect from first person view. It's pretty distracting as well.

The glowing hands are nice, but the rest are just irritating.

To be honest, it's the constant noise that I dislike.

I remember seeing an NPC mage character that had this tiny yellow-ish ball of light above her head, something like that I wouldn't mind. As for the one we get with magelight, well, I think it's a bit ridiculous. Oh, not a fan of the face & hands effects either, messes with my colors. Lastly, toggle spell, most are boring and shouldn't exist.

Woah, just realized, I really hate this spell.

It was neat for the first 20 seconds, oh and also helps in dark corners of dungeons so I don't have to adjust my gamma settings. Other than that, it's a distraction.

it gives you increased vision of stealth units and also gives you spell crit, If I see a mage/whatever with it on I tend to avoid them. If it had no animation.. just be stupid.

Maybe don't have it on all the time? there you go.

    Ridiculous

I admit, I laughed. This is pretty much the funniest response I have read all day.

I really hate the ball of light, it always gets in my way. That being said, it's supposed to reveal hidden players, so it makes sense for it to be there. Honestly, the benefits it gives you far outweigh the annoyance it brings.

Taking away the glowy ball would be a nerf to stealth builds in pvp. You see the ball, you need be reeeeaaaaaallly careful if you want to try to sneak up on them.

The glowing hands thing is used in a lot in other animations. if I see someone with glowing hands I can think of a number of abilities they may be using.
