Your supposed to defend the hall at the end of the quest chain, but it will not update when the screen flashes talk to hrogar (And you can't talk to him), and the defense just continually loops.

Please fix this.

Hi @Malpherian‌, we want to assist you with the quest related issues you've described. This seems like a script event, with that in mind, please type /reloadui then log out of the game for 15 minutes (Closing both the game and launcher). when you reopen the launcher please begin a repair.

Please come back to this thread and let us know if this issue persists.

Um.. You do realize that your client has "No" repair function yes? It's not in any of your Games folders, nor does the launcher have a repair option available.

(10 minuets later) Yea, just did a full search, This is not a function available/supported by/to the client software on this game. (Unless you put it somewhere REALLY sneaky and REALLY difficult to find, and called it something besides "Repair tool" or "Repair".

Also I am not the only one experiencing this, every other single person in game, is not able to do this quest.

It's not my client, It's your game.

The client does so have a repair function so no need to get snarky with staff. If you look under game options which is just under the news title on the launcher. Which is pretty much right in the middle of the launcher. Click it. You will see repair. And since you have been here since last year that you should of known this.

I wasn't being snarky. And I did look, My launcher does not have a repair function. I looked , (And I just looked again).

It may be the beta one... not sure. Can't remember but I really don;t want to reinstall the entire game again. Honestly though I shouldn't have too. Like I said No one can complete this quest, and I am sure others "DO" have that repair tool and have tried it, and still can't do the quest.

So most likely trying to re-install the client just to get a tool, that in this case is most likely a useless solution, would really just be a waste of 6 hours of my time.

If the quest function is scripted anything like it was in Skyrim, the problem is that the quest is hanging in the "progression" phase, where the End of the (One part) Tells the quest to advance to the (next Part). This was a common Mod error in many of Skyrims Mods, and is easily fixed by adding the "QuestAdvance(#) command in the script line.

This being an MMO it would have to be done in a hotfix patch though during maintenance

    LOOK AGAIN, it's there.

On the Launcher opening page there are two columns headed GAMES and NEWS.

In the GAMES column it says "The Elder Scrolls Online", under the NEWS column on the same line at the far right is "Game Options", click that and a menu drops down (the cog wheel to the left of this text and the down-arror 'v' are your clues):

    Check For Updates
    REPAIR
    Uninstall
    Settings

I CBA taking and posting a screenshot, but it's there!

I'll give you that it's kind of unintuitive but you missed it.

Hi again, @Malpherian! You can find the Repair tool by following the below steps:
    • Expand the Game Options menu (located under the News Section)
    • Click repair, and wait for it to finish

I just did this quest yesterday and it worked fine. I fear your game needs a repair. :(
