Low Memory crashes

I have not been able to play for longer than 1 hour before I get a low memory message and crash not long after that message. At times I don't even get a message but I hear a sound and if I alt tab to desktop I see a message stating that I am running low on memory soon after the game crashes. This has occurred for the last month at times just closing the game and restarting it fixes it for the next hour or so, other times I have to actually reboot my laptop. I have tried setting game settings to the lowest settings possible but nothing seems to work. It seems during these last 2 patches it has just gotten worse. Any suggestions? I have tried just about everything in the posts that are recommended regarding low memory but NOTHING has worked. Thanks

    Firstly I am not the person to give advice on the more 'technical issues' but a few patches ago, I suffered from appalling memory leak. I was lucky to play for 20mins without crashing let alone an hour. Although this problem was fixed relatively quickly, I did find a way to extend my playing time........

    I shut the launcher down as soon as the game loaded.....

    I kept my task manager running at all times having already turned off every process not necessary for the running of the game, keeping an eye on the game's memory usage(by tabbing out every so often)

    Finally when I noticed the memory usage creeping up, I windowed the game for a couple of minutes and that actually caused the memory usage to drop.......

    A bit of a nuisance to do all this but it enabled me to keep playing without crashing.

    BTW I only have 3GB of RAM so I am 'memory challenged' anyway :D

    There are known memory leaks that have started again with the first hot fix in July. The launcher has leaks as well as the game. Make sure you are closing the launcher after you are in game. I watch my task manager constantly because when the leaks start in game, my system will use 1GB on top of what the game is already using in 30 seconds.

    I reported them and CS stated they knew about them so hopefully a fix is coming.

    I don't know if you have a home network but if you do there's a service windows media player uses for sharing media that would eat ram while ESO was running. I'm on an older ram challenged machine running widows 7, if you go to the processes tab and show processes from all users it will show up as wmpnetwork or something like that and nibble away at your ram while eso is running.

    Yeah memory leaks are driving me crazy tonight. In Deshaan at Obsidian Gorge and the game uses almost a gig of memory in seconds. Had to log out. Hopefully it will be better when I log in..ugh...

    Nothing works so far, am attempting to fight Molang in final fight and go down to 4 fps died so many times I just logged at the beginning of fight and will try later on. Frustrating now that its a few minutes into the fight and fps goes way down and am fighting thru molasses.
