Granted my NB is not at vet ranks quite yet (but at level 42 I am so close I can almost taste it....). But my current damage output is pretty freaking extraordinary, I think. My first attack ALWAYS crits from stealth for over 1200 damage, a veiled strike and impale later and my for is dead. For elite bosses, add a funnel health or two before the impale.
I can hit 2000+ damage in 3 seconds or less. AT LEVEL 42
What you CAN'T do is go merrily traipsing along and expect to win in a situation where stealth is not on your side. You DO realize that, right? That stealth attacks are crucial to the damage output of a NB? Hell, most of our class skills are designed to give bonuses from stealth; it should be pretty obvious.
Far be it from me to tell a vaunted VR12 that maybe you need to L2P. But....well

And yes I have 1 of each class.

As a Templar I find this sad... And true.NerfEverything wrote: »Try to find some Templars to fight. That will make you feel much better about your NB.

I think I scared the s*** out of her, because instead of spamming self heals then pounding me like they usually seem to do, she tried to run. while I wont deny the truth to this, it is still ridiculous for a DK to survive one of the most powerfull attacks in the game, while on low health, WHEN HIS BACK WAS TURNED TO THE GUY DOING IT. he turned to face him after he got done making me look pathetic, and by the time he even did turn to fight back, the soul strike was already happening, that DK should have died:/ MMO rules be d****. I don't charge DKS, or anyone in fact, head on, with my NB. I jump them. sometimes it works, sometimes it does not, but I do expect a player to die, when they are hit, in the back, by the one of the most powerful attacks in the game, while on low health. if someone can survive THAT, something is off.NookyZooky wrote: »well... Assumed that anyway NBs do need some ground up review,
in no PvP game a "tank specced, tank geared" class goes easily down, not even against multiple players. Else they'd be useless at their role, which is... well... to tank.
In no PvP game a stealther can headbutt and hope to win. They play with finesse. Those like a player above (S&B NB) has understood how to deal with zergy situations. Once again, other PvP MMOs had specific "rogue" spec and gear to forfeit best stealth but become durable and apply heavy debuffing and crowd control against multiple players.
So... I won't say "L2P" but "learn your role, the compromises you have to accept and to spec + gear accordingly.
It isn't the NB at fault... All the other classes are overpowering! Throttle them back so they are on par with the NB. I see this all the time in PvE and I'd be crazy poking into PvP. Always shying away from mobs of 3 or more and play it wrong with mobs of 2 and I'm dead. But in the middle of a battle going well or not and some PC with a staff comes rushing in and the battle is over very quickly--thank you.
My best guess right now is ZOS doesn't know what to do and that's why the 1.2.6 patch isn't happening yet.

We dont need 15 million under powered posts.
Do a search and add to a post.
Also eso and devs are aware....move on..... they dont need to have a chat with you to confirm what every one already knows.
Play a different toon until they het it fixed

Im not a night blade but this has been going on for near 3 months it was very visible in closed beta. As the population we have known about it since 4 weeks post launch. the guilds are emptying populations primarily because of this issue. And they have done nothing about it.
