The people saying you can't see the ball aren't knowledgeable, they're confused. They probably play on high pop campaigns where the bug is more persistent.
You're supposed to be able to see enemy mage lights and in most cases you can. Here's some video proof:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5kfzJ1lNlU4&t=6m48s
Notice that its third person perspective recording but you can still see the Inner Light ball.
Edit: Time stamp didn't go through. Skip to 6:49 to see the Inner Light.
Remove it or put it in the OTHER morph from Inner Light. It's made SOLELY to annoy player with it's sound, really really distracting character of the floating light ball and cutting a bunch of your FPS (getting from my low standard of 22 to 16 with it active, thanks to additional light&shadow effects)
Basically you want a skill that makes NBs so easy to spot that their entire Class is quite useless, YET have your own character not stand out at all... to warn others about your use of this mechanic....good one.
I see what you did there ^^
It breaks enemy stealth, how fair is it to have a stealth stealth breaker? stealth would be useless in pvp

it gives you increased vision of stealth units and also gives you spell crit, If I see a mage/whatever with it on I tend to avoid them. If it had no animation.. just be stupid.
Maybe don't have it on all the time? there you go.
How am i supposed to know that the enemy nearby can reveal nearby hidden players without the ball?
