Greetings folks,
We closed this thread in error and have decided we’d prefer to keep it open and explain a bit more about our policy on goodbye/quitting threads. To reiterate what ZOS_CarolusS said earlier, we close goodbye/quitting threads as they typically gather responses that are flaming or nonconstructive. That being said, the reason we close these types of threads rather than removing them entirely is because the feedback provided in them is very valuable to us. Knowing why players leave our game is extremely helpful for our development team as they plan future content updates and changes.
To address another concern presented in this thread, we are very interested in reading feedback on the forums, regardless of how positive or negative it is. That being said, we do expect feedback to be provided in a constructive way and for players to abide by our Community Code of Conduct when posting to the forums.
Thank you!

This doesn't make sense to me. If someone cancels their sub making it clear that they intend to leave wouldn't it be beneficial to know their reasons before they've actually left. Maybe you could do something before their sub expires to retain them as a customer.
Not everyone who plays reads these forums or knows what issues are being worked on so if someone cancelled because of issue X but X was due for a fix soon you'd be able to tell them and maybe they'd stay. Your current system they'd be gone and probably for good.

Okay, that makes sense. Could be some changes in patches prior to game time running out, and so you'd want the survey to accurately reflect experience in the latest version.ZOS_AmeliaR wrote: »You won't receive the survey as soon as you cancel your subscription, but rather once your remaining subscription time runs out.

Can't wait till i get mine
"I Quit" threads exist because the person posting it cares. They're most likely disappointed that they felt quitting necessary, and didn't want to quit, but their healthy self respect wouldn't allow them to continue paying for a product with this many issues.
..At least, that's why I'd start one.

Actually, I never got one either when my time ran out. Do you not want to hear what I have to say?
As someone who has already cancelled their account, I agree 100% with ZOS on this.
They dont need to have a dedicated I quit forum, the company already knows that you cancelled your account. That's all that needs to be said. If you want to provide feedback about the game, just do it.

If your subscription ran out yesterday, how are you still allowed to post?
The survey should arrive within 48-72 hours of your game time expiring.Mine ran out yesterday. What sort of timeframe do we have after that please @ZOS_AmeliaR ?
There can sometimes be a short delay between when game time expires and when forum access is disabled. If your subscription ran out yesterday, how are you still allowed to post?
