To be honest Tom they would better off rolling back to 1.2.2.

until they know what's causing the problem and how to fix it, they should just roll back.

Microsoft, Debian, and others rollback all the time due to regression issues. .it happens.

as John F Kennedy once said:

An error only becomes a mistake when you refuse to correct it

its obvious after two weeks they are having trouble fixing it for whatever reason, just take the servers offline for 12 hours and roll it back....then zenimax can take their time debugging 1.2.5 and release it when its fixed. This makes the most sense for them from a support, and money perspective.

because make no mistake they bleed too many subscribers, there wont be a game to play...just roll it back and appease your paying customers for the time being until they get 1.2.5 properly working.

Our eyes once were blinded, now through him do we see. Our hands once were idle, now through them does he speak. And when the world shall listen, and when the world shall see, and when the world remembers, that world will cease to be. - Miraak

Can't run Cyrodiil or Veteran Dungeons. I'm limited to grinding Craglorn..........................................

Move over and make some room Pmarsico.

Even though ZOS hasn't been able to fix the lag issues in Cyr. yet, they were successful in adjusting down the mob strength in PvE Vet+ 1- 10 areas. Now you will enjoy rubbing elbows with a LOT of players coming in and making more activity in Craglorn. Should be getting busy in say, a couple weeks or so. Oh, I should mention though you'll need to put on yer teachin cap. Gonna be a lot of instruction required. I know, some vet players really enjoy lifting others upon their shoulders. Should be just fine.

    Think about it. :|

Their loss. Zenimax used to be a profitable company, but then the subscribers took a FPS bug to the knee.

This is just beyond appalling. We pay for a premium product, we pay a premium on top of that to ensure the post purchase support service stays at that level. Instead the ball continually is being dropped.

What the hell is with the "roll it forward" mentality that seems so pervasive in ZOS? Why hasn't this been rolled back already?

Considering PVP was such a big part of the marketing for this game - the 3 banners war, ESO to be a spiritual successor to DAOC, like really, what is going on with the post sales support in this game, particularly for PVP?

Our PVP guild is hemorrhaging people who are unsubbing, and rightfully so, Cyrodil has been an unpleasant experience since the FPS bug. Two weeks. Two whole weeks where people have been looking elsewhere for their PVP fix.

You might read this and think "Why can't people play the other parts of the game?" the short answer is "Why should they have to?". Some people want to PVP, and that's their right to play that way.

TLDR people are being forcibly weaned off ESO.

    Dear Sile:

From a concerned and compassionate PvE sister: First off, yes, stand by for 'Why can't people play the other parts of the game?'

And yes, even though..."PVP was such a big part of the marketing for this game - the 3 banners war, ESO to be a spiritual successor to DAOC, like really, what is going on with the post sales support in this game, particularly for PVP?" We need to realize that ZOS priorities have changed. o-0

Just as other vet players found that two+ years of dev interviews, fansite info, forward promo's and advertisement heavily involved a slant toward getting vet mmo PvE'rs interested in coming to TESO, primarily because it was stated that levels 1 - 50 would be solo-friendly, and Vet content was being created specifically with group-encouraged content; , these are just a couple of the adjustments we all need to get used to.

Some will no doubt come in here and tell you to be more patient, to be more fair and that you PvPr's aren't the center of the universe after all. Exactly like the player supporters of todays initial Phase I lowering "just a tad" all mobs in V+1-10 told vet mmo players. We aren't to prefer thinking things through, facing challenges, and having each other's backs - -that is just not fair in an MMO; they wanted the ability to SOLO all mobs in all content up to V10 and they got it.

I'm sorry for relaying this information. Its damn frustrating from so many angles. But, be patient. And remember, ZOS is working on it.

Rollbacks are hardly a normal or routine thing for an MMO to do though. The rollback itself could very well cause new bugs and problems for scores of people.

There are no easy solutions. I know that doesn't make the situation any better for anyone, but people need to be realistic and understand that the solution won't be as simple as just pressing CTRL + Z or running an uninstall routine on a patch.

The time for being patient is well over this is the third time it has been fixed They have two possible ways of saving face on this issue, fix it be it through rollback, working it out or hiring/firing staff or admitting it was a major *** up and giving free game time. I how ever am not holding my breath for either of them.

I am happy they are working on it. Dont forget the fact its still lot of us here, who had fps issues from the very beginning on decent rigs.. so maybe the final outcome will be the best for everyone. I really want to believe this and i do hope Zos will not forget us. If they do well.. thats another story..

Honestly, I'd have no issue with any of this if they simply issued game time credits to those who can't play the game.............
I called and asked and despite being told by the CSR that he can't play either, they aren't issuing nor are they allowed to issue, credits.....

Which is an abysmal joke. I hope the console version that we are all beta testing for has all of 20 sales.

    I completely agree.

This simple solution, call it an apology if you will, would have gone a long way in pacifying those of us unhappy enough to unsub over this.

Erin from the support team already stated that no game time will be issued. Tally up another consumer relations nightmare... Errr, I ran out of room on my wall.

2 weeks of game time has no cost to them........lol........it's just common courtesy.......what a joke.

If it's an issue that's been limited to a small population of subscribers, then it's........well what costs less than nothing?

Hearing around that it is fixed? yayyyyyyyyyyyy still a little lame we didn't get a week free for breaking the game but in hindsight when I played wow I think I got a total of about 8 days free over 5 years? and I've already had 5 days from Zenimax in 3 months.
