Damage your taking is critical damage. Normal hits will never do 1k.
If a sorc really hates you, he'll use a resto staff, w/ cycle of life passive, and a spell pot and probably 2 hit you

4 shards in 3 seconds? lol
You know, casting two shards in a row needs about 2 seconds, not 1,3. (10 shards take about 21 seconds)
Do you understand the words "3 in 4 sec"? Not 4 Crystal Fragments in 3 seconds, but the other way around: 3 Crystal Fragments in 4 seconds. And this is definitely possible.Morticielle wrote: »3 in 1 sec no, but 3 in 4 sec yes. Don't forget that Crystal Fragments has a 35% chance of an instant proc.
Thats why I wrote:And it does not proc on itself.
And from that instant cast can come a proc!Morticielle wrote: »So the first and the third cast can be procs and the second ist casted normally with another instant cast your choice in between.

they can have just as much HP and armor as any other class if they choose to.
This.

Nothing irregular about it...And sorcs can hit for 1.2k because they put all stats into spell crit chance and spell damage. My shard hits for 1.2k and i have 52.5 crit chance with 130 spell damage. Even though it hits hard, its still no way near the highest dps due to the casting time
Sorry, but that is wrong. Every mentally sane NB will wear some medium armor and will have the passive skilled, which reduces the range somebody can detect them. And therefore their stealth is better. Maybe not much, but still better. And they can go to stealth infight, which every other class can not.The problem with sneaking in this game is that all classes are equally good at it. And the one class that need to be better at it (NB) is not.

This.
No, medium armor has hardly any advantage over light armor when sneaking. Yeah yeah I know, use a little less stamina and sneak a little faster, big deal.

So every word I wrote is right. And now I'm awaiting your apology.
Well, I'm in forgiving mood today, so I won't kill you for your insult. But I will kill you on the battlefield for being an Ebonheart basterd! (where the f... is the hurling smiley which I would like to post here?)Apology from me? Never ever
Crystal fragment got cast time btwIt's not like u can spam 3 crystal fragments in 1 s
Nightblades can do much higher burst damage without relaying on lucky procs.
1.2k is far from the norm. The sorc stacked a lot against you to get that high and is now a one trick pony.
Do you know why you don't hear a lot of complaints about fragments? It is because it is by far the most predictable and easily blocked/dodged/reflected/absorbed skill in the game.
I can go a whole day in pvp and only be successfully hit by fragments half a dozen times.

So first an instant, then two casts = 5 sec
I've never had a proc on an instant, but also can not deny it is possible.
I guess many of the complaining people here play NBs and don't like to be "offed" in the same way they kill other players, meaning attacking out of stealth, stunning the enemy, bursting him down and vanishing into thin air. But there are two differences with give NBs playing this way an advantage over Sorcs playing this way:Halrloprillalar wrote: »That being said, it is no different than a NB sniping out of stealth (I've been hit for ~1400 before and the stun is not breakable unlike shards alone).

Because I wasn't condescending or rude to a player who clearly has less of an understanding of the game than most of this forum?
Your logic is flawless.

They don't. In your experience, one Sorc in particular dies easy. Yours. In all of these tear-soaked QQ threads, there is one common truth you guys don't want to face: Occam's Razor. In other words, when you hear hoofbeats, expect horses, not unicorns. The biggest problem with all these "under-powered" characters is 80% likely to be found between the chair and keyboard. Balance is the LAST not the FIRST place you should be looking for why you get facerolled all the time. I don't know why the current generation of gamers has such a hard time getting their heads around it. But here goes: You might suck at this game. It's ok, though. Face it, and get better. I suck quite a bit, but I continue to improve every day.
I don't know what the hell you are on about.
Did you pop some of Grannies pills again?
Morticielle wrote: »Yes, you will get the dumb ones with that. But you can be shure that Reflective Scales will get a nerf in the future. A cooldown of 10 sec would be realistic or they will cost 50% more magicka if you use them inside 5 sec of the last use.

Yes, it is.
