I made my high elf have the lightest blonde hair but later on after noticing lag and what not I used the ESO slider to change the graphics to low and then I moved up some other individual settings to medium or high. I've heard there were hidden settings in the ESO slider.
So when I did that, my armor lost all shine and my characters hair turned unshiny brown. Similarly my white hair dark elf's hair turned muddy, unshiny, and tan. Shiny black hair on my breton became a void of darkness.
When I changed the settings back (slider to high or something and then modified the individual settings) all the shine came back and my characters hair colors were back to normal.
well, actually your character looks better (to me) this way. his brown hairs looked as if someone glued them to his fair forehead.
only if the game would turn my Altmer hair colour into black one.
