    Hi folks,

We just finished pushing a hotfix for the FPS issue. We've done as much as we can in a hotfix to alleviate the issue. The impact will vary—you may see noticeable improvements or marginal ones. This is by no means a final or complete fix to the issue, but we felt it important to do what we could in the short term now.

We’re continuing to work on performance improvements that we’ll roll out in upcoming patches. We’ll keep you updated as we make more progress, and we thank you for your patience.

Ok I guess I'm going to explain this like I would to a kindergartner:

After downloading today's hotfix, I experienced the same FPS drop and lag as before.

Everyone in my group also experienced this.

Your comment was not based on any reported facts.

    Thank you

You do realize he was addressing the guy that responded to his post that was quoting you, and not actually addressing you, right?

Well, you'll be happy to know that if anything - you made it worse. Not better. Not fixed - not even marginally better.

What's the time frame on a patch to actually fix it?

OR are you ready to state the obvious and say that 1.2.3/4 is a failed update to the game and you will be rolling us back to 1.2.2 so we can all play and enjoy the game again?

Seriously - your people are losing their jobs and still no one is getting this right.

Soon, you will all be looking for jobs.

I looks like this hotfix included the fix for achievement notification pop-ups. Probably more than that But, I can confirm I'm seeing that work again.

They can push as many patches as they want unannounced as far as I am concerned as long as the fps and lag issues in Cyrodil get fixed.

The bolded portion is extremely concerning. You state that performance improvements are being worked on but how about the main issue here in regards to FPS? That is at the forefront of performance concerns and if it is going to take patches (plural) what is the point in attempting to PvP in Cyrodiil?

I noticed absolutely no improvement. Still the same issue as before. You'll continue to work on performance improvements in upcoming patches? This is the best it gets until then? Jessica, I understand you just pass the information along, so this isn't directed at you. This entire fiasco is pathetic. You're telling me you can't undo the damage done by 1.2.3? You cannot rollback to the previous build? What an absolute sham. I understand my $15 a month isn't jack to the big earners up the chain, but they won't get a cent of it until this is fixed, and entirely likely not afterwards. I've never, ever seen a mess like this.

Ive been geting the fps drop issue today in both Cragrlon open map (doing some quests it would happen randomly) and later in Cyrodil.

I am not that confident it was the lightning improvements wich caused this mess.

Well, it was something in patch 1.2.3, because everything worked fine before that. I, too, wish they would just roll back patch 1.2.3.

and take a look at this:

"We’re continuing to work on performance improvements that we’ll roll out in upcoming patches."

They break pvp over night with one *** patch and now we are suppose to wait for weeks for "upcoming patches"

A question to also consider is how does something that causes such a break get patched into the game? I know that we poke fun at the QA they have but this statement by ZOS is extremely concerning simply because a major issue has been found and it cannot be fixed quickly (few days).

My guess is that this is an experiment to test how much are we able to put up until we snap and kill someone...

The other alternative is... dumb devs are dumb!

In other words, PVP is going to be completely frustrating and pointless for the weeks ahead, and people will continue to exit stage left.

I'll be looking forward to your F2P announcement.
