FPS Bug Related to Wykkyd's Quest Tracker?

I've noticed that with Wykkyd's Quest Tracker enabled and a large number of quests accepted (around 30-35) I get FPS drops down to 0-5 whenever my quest log updates (talk to someone, pick up an object, get a new arrow). I know a lot of people reported it after 1.2.3, but I'm wondering if this isn't a ZOS problem, but an addon problem. Wykkyd's framework is one of the most downloaded, so it can be inferred that a large player base is running this addon.
