I think there is something wrong with my account.

G'day guys,

Since logging in today I am experiencing these problems:

People can not see my whispers.
Zone chat does not see my text.
The option to access Guild bank is gone.
I cannot trade with anyone.

They are all really impacting on my ability to play/enjoy the game and are quite upsetting to be honest, any ideas?

    After researching this for a bit, it seems that most people who have this happen to them have had their account flagged for some reason. If so, you will need to resolve this with customer support.

    try to repair your files maybe they were broken durin patch or something.

    Also try updating/disabling addons, quite a few of them are broken now and might be stopping you playing.
    People believe what they either want to be true or what they are afraid is true!

    How long does the repair function take?

    I have contacted CS and given a number to ring me back but that was 2 hours ago, anyone have an idea of what time frame I'm looking at?

    It can vary a lot. I once submitted a ticket about a quest NPC who was missing to me but not to anyone else and they emailed me back that they had advanced me in the quest line within 10 minutes.

    Other people wait days to hear back and some people never get a human response at all. It really does sound like an account flag though...

    Yeah from what people in my guildies say it does sound that way. It's pretty upsetting, I can't imagine what I have done to cause it :( I do report and block all the gold sellers and bots I see/get mail from, one of my guildies said he actually got flagged for doing this!
    I'm not a resentful person and I'm not gonna get up in arms and threaten to cancel my sub etc but it is really disappointing and effecting how I can play/enjoy the game.
    The worst part for me is I just maxed out my Blacksmith and I've been making armour for all my friends, I don't know why but it brings me a lot of joy doing this. Now I can't talk to them (I get a lot of them trying to talk to me and then giving up) and if I do manage to get past that I can't trade them the gear I've made :(

    Last time I repaired it took about 10 minutes, if I recall right.

    A stupid question but you didn't switch your availability to offline at the contacts/guilds menus, right?

    No, but I did try setting it between offline and online and reloging but no improvement.

    Did u fix it yet?

    If not, you go to launcher. Game Options menu has "Repair" and "Uninstall" - I have had to uninstall/reinstall through this method before to fix things.

    On the good side there are still disgruntled players full of useless advice clogging up the forums. Enjoy!

    I have tried repair with no luck, if I uninstall will I have to redownload the whole game?

    Honestly it's seeming more and more like I've been flagged. I just can't believe that can happen without any reason/feedback :-(

    My best guess would be yes, a full download of the game through the launcher. It's possible that a re-install might help you, but I have my doubts.

    i had this exact problem after i was unbanned contact support tell them whats going on ad they will fix it took them about 24 hours for me

    I was never banned in the first place. I have contacted support but no response yet.

    This was not a pleasant experience, I upset a few of my knew friends and lost a LOT of gold/resources from not being able to sell/trade the gear people asked me to make.

    Is there a way I can find out how/why this happened so I can avoid it happening again?

    My account has now reverted to being unable to trade, contact people or use the guild bank again.

    What is going on? this is ridiculous...

    All I had a chance to do was access and organize the guild bank (I am the guild master) and send 12k gold to my wife, perhaps this was flagged as suspicious?

    Stupid question... if you hit O (open social window) are you flagged as Online, Busy, Unavailable, or Away?

    I have found that if I mark myself as anything other than "Online" (green), then all of those problems happen (I cannot send/receive tells, mail acts oddly, guild chat acts oddly, trades do not function, etc)

    This morning I logged on to find everything was working fine then after about 30min my friends started saying stuff like Hello? You there? so I go back to the bank to find EVERYTHING is blocked again.

    This is really upsetting because I am a shift worker and only have a few days to play ESO, all my days off is going to be spent doing this apparently.
