The players are testing AND sending in bug reports.
Zenimax is just choosing to ignore them like they have since Beta testing.
I am starting to think that they have a small group of "testers" that they only listen to.

What I DO have a problem with, is that they do not stack.

Don't you know that's how life works? One dork can ruin something for everyone.
The response to this was usually to encourage the bad-doers peers to "correct" them.
Yes, clearly ZoS has not paid any attention to issues that have bothered me since release and actively broken stuff (this for example). All these things are meant to do is sit in a container and grief player after player until they finally grief a bot.
I think it's a pretty lame and sad way to treat the vast majority of people who play by the rules just to get at the few who use bots.
I am loving these new items! They can be deconstructed and used. The fact that they lack a gold value isn't a big deal to me; however I would like to see that changed. Highly sought after Motifs like Daedric even have a gold value in the NPC stores; it may not be much but it's something. Can we see something comparable for the armour and weapons sitting about that is above level 1?
Also, these items are great for those who would otherwise play naked to avoid paying for repairs :P
You do know rare motifs only drop in vet zones, right? Primal and Barbaric in vet 1-5, Daedric and Ancient Elf in vet 6-10.You know the funny part is I have yet to get ANY of the good motifs that everyone keeps saying drop too much. Yeah I have gotten like 4 or 5 of the common ones that sell for like 500g, but that's it and I have been checking every place they spawn at too. I don't have that much in gold that I can buy the Daedric, Primal, or Barbarian motifs either. I don't use a bot or buy gold from any of the websites that are emailing me all the time and I have only found about 4 purple items and I have a v1 and a L40 character with less than 4k gold on each.
So how these people are making all this gold and finding all this stuff and still playing by the rules is beyond me. Yet still people are complaining that the drop rates are too high and Zenimax is nerfing me right out of the game.
I wish they would do something about the bots without cutting my throat in the process. Make it so we can prosper and have fun playing the game. They should be punishing the bots and ONLY the bots.

ZOS_GinaBruno wrote: »You're correct in that assumption, @Bookwyrm. Just posted a clarification in the patch notes, but the zero value for armor and weapons that you find also apply to anything you find in an interactable object, such as drawers or cabinets. That sounds like it might be a bug related to a mechanic that was added. The patch notes said that the armor and weapons that you see lying around in the world could now be picked up, but they would be worthless (monetarily) but could be used as gear in a pinch. It said nothing about adding these items to the loot tables, though, as far as being in boxes and bags. I'd report that. That seems off.
Moonscythe wrote: »It's the new patch and part of the immersion element since before the open-world weapons/armor could not be picked up which is not usual in ES games. I imagine they added this to adhere to the franchise. I don't mind it so much.
Well I kinda do. I liked the idea of being able to pick up stuff out in the world. Some of it looked cool. Of course if it's useless it's kind of like taking the trouble to pick a lock in Oblivion only to find the Akaviri sword was a replica. I don't like useless armor that I can't sell and can't deconstruct cluttering up the dressers and such where I usually had a chance of finding a motif. This morning the Vulkhel Guard yielded food and iron pauldrons and 1 piece of nickel.
At least the traits I learned for light robes also apply to a "shirt".
Jerkins!
Other than that, /agree

Just deconstruct them, and get mats and crafting exp.
Patch notes wrote:•These items can be deconstructed, but yield very low inspiration and rarely yield usable resources.
How can people use autoloot and complain tho?o_O They used to drop all these low lvl food stuff, did you autoloot all of that, too? I only loot what I want and my inventory is fine by now(vet 9. Inventory is a b...bad thing to manage at lower levels, I agree).

No, because they arent worth taking up bag space when bag space is already an issue.
starstruck wrote: »Do they give anything when they are deconstructed?
actually it works out ok especially at level 17 and the last lot of armour you made was level 14 the steel armour and oak shields and bows and staffs are very good when you improve them plus they look really good

Why not just pick it up from weapon stand, etc? there are plenty of those in every town. Why do they have to stuff the containers? other than obviously decreasing the rate of getting useful stuff?
