The problem with zen patches is that they SOUND good when we check the notes.

When we see the changes not freaking listed and the bugs added , is when we start to notice the game was better off without it.

I like the patch so far, but I notice when I finish a quest I am not seeing the "completed quest" after its done and I don't see my xp going up in the bar like I was. Making me wonder if I am getting the xp, and on some I am not.

Lots of really good changes. Medium armor and weapons buffed. Lots of useful UI upgrades, like clearer info on enchants. Much more useful store filters.

I also seem to be getting a lot more item drops from mobs. And I got my first purple recipe (at level 35) and two blues. People, there is more to life than freeform complaining about everything. I feel embarrassed to be associated with the people in this forum sometimes.

Can't vote yet, because played SWTOR last night while the ESO patch was downloading and installing.

Question: Did the new patch allow cooperative play in the main quest instances?

I'm loving the changes they've made to the graphics and abilities. Also, guild stores. How did this get to 2 pages without mentioning the guild store search improvements?

A bunch of new bugs, trash drops now in containers, not just lootable from items in environment, NB is as bugged as ever (stealth still not fixed), FURTHER DK NERFS (only confirmation that the game is currently just being changed to suit the whims of crying PvP crowd, DK is being nerfed in like every single damn patch)...

Oh well, at least that medium armor buff.. :\

And they could have made Snipe castable while moving, like Uppercut. Standing for 2 seconds on 1 place = death.

I've encountered zero issues in about 8 hours of playtime since the patch went live.

My class got some nice fixed but this junk weapons and armor in boxes and barrels is just too much. It's one thing to have to work around bugs and imbalances at every turn... It's another for them to intentionally introduce moment by moment annoyances into the game. It's just too much.

Billing is up in the next few days. This might be the straw. I don't find constant inventory management fun on any level.

There are a few too many posts along these lines in this thread.

You guys know that the developers are not responsible for your addons not working, right? Every time an MMO is patched, addons need to be updated. If your addon isn't up-to-date with the latest patch, it's because that developer hasn't fixed their code yet.

No. But they updated the loading screens for solo-quests so you know they are solo. Why would they change main story quests to allow more than 1 player? There can only be one vestige!

    Well, look around forum.
For example Silver Shards from fighters guild now has 100% chance to smite daedra/undead/vamps/wws instead of 5% which is on tooltip. And I'm sure we'll find way more till the day's over, although I'm hoping we won't.
Not to mention NB wasn't fixed (mainly stealth issues), he's just been buffed a bit for stamina play and nerfed a lot for magicka play.

So far I have had no problems with it. There were a lot of positive changes.

I also don't really care for the new 0g items but am going to refrain from crying about them.

The lighting changes seem pretty cool and I would like to see some outdoor lighting changes as well as darker nights w/ the addition of streetlamps on roads :D

It's not complaining when they are right. Stealth is still getting broken instantly on it's slightest whim. Oh well, I'll just make a full archer out of Lady Lyanna so I won't use stealth till it's finally fixed (which I estimate for winter 2015)

The junk loot is apparently a bug that will hopefully get fixed soon (there's a thread about it in the PTS section).

Other than the annoyance of the lockout code requirement, I think this new patch is quite impressive.

PvP - If the fix to give immunity to the DK talon spam is good then I'll be happy. Also hope they fixed DK stacking +heal/shield. Far too OP in PvP and I play a NB and DK :)

No mention of any fixes to:
The sudden drops in FPS lots of people experience from 85+ down to 12. Relog fixes it but its a pain when your in Cyrodiil.
Or group members getting booted from game when someone joins the group from outside the zone.

Cause people like to group also , hell im a solo player and i can understand that , some people want to play the whole game with their friends/SO...

In the end , forcing solo content OR group content is just a silly idea that is costing ESO more and more players , wish they would wake up to that.

Some people when cant beat a boss and are forced to solo it in a MMO , just QUIT , they dont keep trying and so on , they leave. Tons of the reviews trashed the game over this.

It's opposite day on the forums. In game my nightblade has incredible stamina resources, weapons are doing a lot more damage, and I'm steamrollering things. On the forums Nightblades are doooomed.

Because a lot of casual players bought this MMO so they could cooperatively play all the way through. Other MMOs allow the "one hero" to play key instanced dungeons cooperatively, and the major villains in such instances act as though the other player isn't even there, except during the fight itself. So there's plenty of precedence in allowing cooperative play in such instances, and it hardly breaks immersion.

Moreover, if you and others are still allowed to solo the instances, why should you care if others can cooperatively play them - since it would in no way break your immersion and game play experience?

I can't enjoy playing the game again because of too narrow FOV in both 1st and 3rd person view. An official FOV slider was finally added, but it only affects 1st person view. Also the maximum FOV angle isn't wide enough.

The update broke ESO Launcher mod. This mod allowed changing both 3rd and 1st person FOV up to about 105 degrees horizontal angle making the game much more immersive and removing all nausea caused by too narrow FOV. Now I'm waiting for the mod to update as the official FOV support is still too bad.

The newly added FOV slider goes to 130deg, not sure if yours has a problem. I was messing with it last night in Deshaan on one of my chars using a building to roughly see the difference between the low-end vs the high-end. I don't have a way to specifically measure the deg for it, but I know there was a LARGE difference between the two.
And so did many brave men, women, and beast fall to the end of Beta, never to be heard from again. All that is left, is whispers of the adventures they had.

Nah, sorry while it swings the nerf back back and forth, giving a little taking a little. Fixed bugs, which should have never been introduce, everytime the fix something the break something else.

Sorry but going to be canceling my sub this week. Doubt I will last the six months. I am already quite board of the game, I can't see grinding VR levels as fun and profitable.
