    And yet mage light still does not reveal vampires.....awesome :P some guy was doing it the other day in pvp, running into us invisible like using batswarm and scattering us, and he was undetectable by my mage light >_> oh well i guess

    Why do I not see anything new in the patch notes?...I'm happy we got this patch so soon but in all of the balance threads in developer discussions it has been said that those would not be the final patch notes and they were still working on further updates.

    Nightblades still need more balancing, stamina builds including heavy armour also needs some definite looking into, so come patch day and nothing has really changed infact I've experienced almost all of this content in the PTS already, it's a little depressing.

    Really? Have you never been on a PTS before?

    When they say that the patch notes there aren't final, it just means they're leaving room for additional tweaks and fixes as people test (that's what you were supposed to be doing, remember?) the new content. It doesn't mean that they have a secret dungeon that no one gets to play until the content update is released.

    It was something requested by many beta players, mainly those from the single player games who are used to being able to interact and pick up pretty much everything you see.

    Not for people who have played prior Elder Scrolls games. A totally interactive world is exactly what we like, and while you almost never use the dagger you pulled out of that guy's table, it's always been nice to know that you can still take it out.

    I have played all previous elder scrolls titles and understand what you're saying however with the current state of this game I think other fixes and improvements should have taken priority especially if they have a bigger plan for these items it would have been better to wait till it's 100% rather than implementing something with no actual benefit to the subscriber in it's current form.

    This patch is a laundry list of fixes. I don't mind that a content update includes some new content, no matter how fluffy it may be.

    Fair enough however I tend to get a bit disheartened when I jump into PvP and are constantly getting disconnects and crashes in groups and forward camps bugging out and are unable to be used and the compass glitching out and these issues that have been around since beta are still not fixed and are not even mentioned by the devs in their notes. PvP is a substantial part of this game and it seems to get the least amount of fixes and improvements and personally I believe it to be one of the main reasons alot have given up on it.

    I must say that's a long list!

    Still I am waiting for non vet campaign. I have hopes that it may improve my feelings about Cyrodiil. For now I see it as weakest card of ESO.

    Somehow, I don't trust those cheery notes any more. Craglorn Patch looked good before it happened, too. I'm scared to think how many things this one's gonna break.

    PTS hasn't had any reports of the patch breaking anything. Someone from the PTS can feel free to correct me, if that's not the case.

    The damage scales severely, only snipe at max range could achieve the full bonus. Essentially what this has done is nerf snipe's damage potential by about 3 percent.

    In fact, no bow skill besides snipe could ever get over 7 percent bonus at their max range (including light/heavy attacks) due to the 12 percent threshold being somewhere between 40 and 44 meters, which was achievable with snipe and snipe alone outside of PvP (and using the Eagle Eye set)

    Especially since the items are worthless and take up space so it's actually a hindrance to loot them.

    Unfortunately PTS doesn't have the volume of players that the live servers do. Not only that but players have a habit of breaking things...lol

    This patch content is something i expected. At least all major systems which should be worked upon on are in active process of adjustment. As far i am concerned when they solve stamina/magic builds imbalance and balance up classes - then i am all good. After that - basicly its more or less regular business - more group end content. Guys when u do all that than open API so we can see/compare group members and thats it .... Competition is THE thing when u play games.

    The day they open up the API to that level is the day that I form an anti-DPS-meter guild. They do nothing but create measuring contests in a game where DPS races are few and far between.

    Hopefully that will never happen. Comparing/examining other players just leads to Elitism, and nothing helps destroy a game community faster !

    Not only that but just because a player has the best gear DOESN'T mean he knows jack-all about how to play efficiently ! ! !

    Sounds like a good patch. However, still missing the auto-stack in the guildbank. With a stuffed guildbank, it takes ages to take everything into my own bags and stack it there so it can be dropped into the guildbank again. Would love to see that in a very near-future patch.

    I like most of these changes. Quick point of clarification: didn't we already get the ultimate generation reduction for critical strikes? Or am I just going senile?

    If this change is indeed new, then this game just became significantly more difficult and trials times are going to be noticeably slower given ultimates will not build nearly as quickly.

    To me, this is the most wide-ranging change in this patch.

    What? I play a templar and those changes are fanfrickentastic.

    Practically every skill got a damage increase in some way, more utility, an ultimate will now be placed back on the "useful" list in PvP since CC can no longer interrupt it.

    I think they are hitting the mark. I was glad to see many of these fixes.

    However, I was disappointed to see that they did not fix some of the bugs associated with running a werewolf (such as ultimate charge emptying w/o activation or transformation). Perhaps in later updates.

    Not a whole lot of love for the Nightblade, but there are some good fixes there. Except Siphoning Strikes.

    Siphoning Strikes: This ability now restores slightly less resources, and will no longer desync your resource bars upon use.

    Unless they dumped the damage dealt reduction then it'll work.

    Yes u got it right - measuring is part of the process where u compete against other players and more importantly where you get motive to improve your game on daily basis . That system actually gives u some value to repeatable content like dungeons. From my perspective output meters are bringing some idea , solution and saved lot of groups from disbanding and most importantly made easier for lot of people to improve their game.
    I dont encourage abuse of that system through bragging , excluding people from the group and similar stuff.
