Have to admit I'm liking most of what is said there (at least until we see how many bugs this causes....lol)

Especially liking the limited number of character 'deletes' per day. Anything that stops those low-life, scumbag bots and gold sellers is OK with me !

I like most of these changes. Quick point of clarification: didn't we already get the ultimate generation reduction for critical strikes? Or am I just going senile?

This actually looks like an awesome patch--not everything fixed, but wow--a lot done. I'm sure some things will be broken, and need to be tweaked, but this does show there's a lot of work being done and a pretty impressive pace.

    Great job!

Looks good to me. I wonder what the resto staff no longer building ultimate is going to cause.

To be fair, this patch is going to change quite a bit of game mechanics, and holy crap templars got some SERIOUS love. Im gonna dig being able to fire the rite of passage ultimate in PvP without being knocked down every single time.

    Bow changes:

So Long Shot doesn't apply to Snipe due to the reduction from 40 to 35 m.

Especially since the items are worthless and take up space so it's actually a hindrance to loot them.

Not for people who have played prior Elder Scrolls games. A totally interactive world is exactly what we like, and while you almost never use the dagger you pulled out of that guy's table, it's always been nice to know that you can still take it out.

Why do I not see anything new in the patch notes?...I'm happy we got this patch so soon but in all of the balance threads in developer discussions it has been said that those would not be the final patch notes and they were still working on further updates.

Nightblades still need more balancing, stamina builds including heavy armour also needs some definite looking into, so come patch day and nothing has really changed infact I've experienced almost all of this content in the PTS already, it's a little depressing.

Pick up Armor and Weapons •Weapons and armor found in the world can now be picked up and equipped. •These items are low quality, but can be used if needed.
•These items sell for 0 gold.
•These items can be upgraded through crafting.
•These items can be deconstructed, but yield very low inspiration and rarely yield usable resources.

Does seem a little lame, should of at least put a very small % chance of finding a decent piece (blue/purple) and deconstruct should have same yield as normal.
(but hey, they can still tweek this later maybe)

Nightblades have already gotten plenty of love, and they've stated that stamina-vs.-magicka balancing is an ongoing project for them.

At this point, I think the Nightblade class has gotten pretty much all the polishing needed. What they're doing now is bringing overtuned class synergies for DK and Sorcerer back in line with Nightblades and Templars. And that's a good thing. The VR content is supposed to be difficult for everyone.

I guess implementing worthless fluff is easier than making new content that has value to the majority.

I've played TES 2 to 5 .. Morrowind is my favourite off-line RPG of all time and Daggerfall is a close second .. and never found the ability to pull a dagger out of a table at all part of what I loved about them.

I don't really think it's fair to complain about already having experienced the new update by playing on the PTS.
Did you want them to sneak a new dungeon in between 1.2.2 and 1.2.3?
The PTS isn't there as a way to play content before its live, it's there to test the new content before it hits live.
It's why I don't use the PTS. I have no interest in bug testing, and I want to wait until I can play it with all my friends when it drops.

I have played all previous elder scrolls titles and understand what you're saying however with the current state of this game I think other fixes and improvements should have taken priority especially if they have a bigger plan for these items it would have been better to wait till it's 100% rather than implementing something with no actual benefit to the subscriber in it's current form.

Some people use the PTS to try and stay "ahead" of other players in the "race to nowhere"

I asked this in another thread, and I still haven't heard: what "stealth" adjustments are you referring to? The only times they made an intended fix to the game that didn't make the patch notes, they corrected the patch notes fairly quickly.

I guess its a pvp only passive now. I know theres a few set bonus that increase range too, but yeah for a standard build this box will now be pointless unless you pvp.

"This version contains our second major content update"

Which, like the first adds new content aimed and the vansihingly small minority who are able to actually play it .. like your friends in Entropy Rising.

For the rest of us, the vast majority, there is no new content this time either.

This patch is a laundry list of fixes. I don't mind that a content update includes some new content, no matter how fluffy it may be.
