That is a very good option, but I don't know if it's going to do anything about this bug. Calling him back when he charges in? Yes. Showing him a target? He might just as well ignore being directed to attack specific target as he now sometimes ignores being auto-directed to attack SOMETHING.They removed the latest patch notes for some editing but in the patch coming out today, you will be able to mark a target for your clannfear etc to attack. I believe the notes said hit Y then left click the mouse on the target. Hopefully the notes will be back up soon and you can see what they have about it.
Yep.Is this normal? And how do you prevent it? Keep the same summon creature icons on both sets?
As has already been said, yes. My Clannie is on both sets usually.I haven't had too much trouble with my Clannfear, except for the need to go after a mob sometimes when I'm not ready. Usually as soon as I make the first hit, he goes charging off into the crowd. I think of him as my personal tank willing to take the hits up close while I'm trying to do some ranged damage with the staff and other spells. I understand however that the summoned creatures are not very effective once you reach the VR levels, but we will see.
BTW, one thing I've noticed is that if I do a weapon swap with my Clannfear and Twilight active, they are nuked. Is this normal? And how do you prevent it? Keep the same summon creature icons on both sets?
every once in a while he'll just ignore me and stand there while I fight/die. Sometimes he pitches in in a few seconds, sometimes he doesn't.
my clannfear often stops following me.
he doesn't engage in a combat until 10+ seconds into the battle.
