look, i do apreciate your comments, (not really cause most of them are a bit insulting and just not true to facts) but the real reason i made this thread was just a request for something that isnt asking alot. if you dont like this type of thing then simply dont join in and simply dont go to that server. you loose nothing and nothing was forced on you.

part 1) You really think that creating a whole new server, which will cost money to create and maintain and divert resources from existing problems such as bugs and class balance, is not asking a lot?
part 2) It's not that I think that a PvP server is the worst idea ever, but I don't think it will ever be workable with the megaserver setup they've got. The image I get is of a three person family living in a giant 4 story mansion.

my answer: Yes, i do.

my answer: me, my wife, and her sister. your visions of my home life are accurate and a bit off topic.
Your best bet is to make a poll asking players if they want an Open-World PvP server. You'd need the options, Yes, No, Maybe, I don't care and Other.
If ZOS see the actual demand for it is high enough (vote totals), they might consider it. But if the interest is low, don't hold your breath.

now that the general population has had thier fun and playtime and are WELL into veteran levels, how about allowing us open world PvP lovers. to have our own server.
please

no you are a part of a very small minority. AND this has been posted well before release. no open world pvp server is gonna happen for the forseeable future. go play something else most likely a FPS game if you want that kind of thing.

You have my vote on this. Also add pvp loot drops for some risk vs reward.

He's now passed on. All because no open world PVP. We need to shine more light on tragedies like this and do all we can to keep people from dying so needlessly in the future. Now this could be fun. Were you thinking along the same lines as Cyrodiil? Like, if your guild/alliance controls so many/all you get special bonuses or something? Or the leader gets a new skill line?I'd be happy with some contested, open world 50+ pvp zones being carved out of the blank area on the map..
i did not pass on, nor did i DIE like you mentioned. this is a real request from a real person.

Yes. And then you can have players go into combat with substandard gear and no armour so they can get around it like they did in Shadowbane and many others. And then the devs will really be able to justify the time and resources diverted to this.

And?
If the gear actually makes a difference, anyone using it will be stronger. Then when people die because of it. They will try better gear. And you dont have to lose Everything equipped. 1-2 items per Death works too.
You dont see people flying ships with cheap stuff in eve online even though you lose Everything. In fact, you will find people using very expencive gear wich took them months to achieve.

So your telling me that this did not happen in Shadowbane? Ok then.

What that you don't believe what I described happened in the Open world full loot PvP game Shadowbane? Because it actually did.
Many games di this with success, AND many players enjoy this. Also if you dont like it, dont join.

This doesnt mean every game has to be the same.
"If you dont like it, dont join" is something you should have told yourself before buying this game.
Go play Archage, and im not being ironic or polemic, i really mean it, it has what you are looking for.
