Believe it or not, but last night I saw spam in Craglorn /z asking for NBs for groups/trials. Yes I know, I was like: o_0

I'm not sure if you have had any positive feedback @ZOS_JessicaFolsom - the NBs in my guild are incredibly happy with the changes so far. Overall I think you've done a great job with Magicka NBs. Sadly, I'm a stamina NB - but if the balance fixes for stamina are going to be as good as the magicka NB ones I can't wait.
man I thought my Templar sucked D lol, I just rerolled a NB for new PvP ganking and wowwww lol half my skills are so broken, I watch DK and sorcs mow through 10+ mobs at a time while grinding like I used to with my reflective light on templar, what do I do? I drop a 10 dps shadow AoE and use vampire drain on each of them before I ult them and than I still have to spam my killers blade... why does it take nightblade 50x more effort to PvE? and the only effective PvPing is when you cheapshot a guy 1v1 to half hp stunning him the whole fight lol? because if they hit you back its over half your health while they have quadruple your self healing? no wonder everyone re-rolled a dragonknight and a sorc.. more range, more damage, more heal, more more more.
how to fix PvP? change dragonblood from a 30% hp heal (can heal over 1k which is ridiculous because everybody is a tanky magicka spamming DK that holds block)
remove the execute effect from mages fury.. cmon, if a sorc can down people on the walls of a keep in 5-6 instant shots at 30m+ range, you know it needs a nerf. no skill should be max range, max damage, and an execute that has no animation or cooldown timer or even increased cost. you literally have groups of 5+ sorcs that shoot 1 crystal shard 600+ than mages fury you dead before your stun break even stands you up. just so much wrong in 1 class
anyone else think the devs play DK and sorc?

No its not exactly what you wrote. You wrote magicka NBs function well but that is not true. Only those of magicka NBs who use staff/cloth builds are relatively effective. Other magicka NBs, like the medium armor-melee-magicka builds simply dont measure up. Its really symptomatic for this issue that some NB players arent aware of there even being other magicka builds outside of cloth/staff.

Duel wield NB with light armour works great. You have enough magicka to spam the cloak so you can just keep repeating the heavy burst damage from stealth again and again. You opponent is stun locked for the whole fight. I've levelled through vet content with this too. Soloed world bosses no problem

It doesn't produce impressive DPS so I'm not sure why it's being reduced. What it does is give us utility to manage PvE groups and bosses. Otherwise when it comes to straight-up DPS fights, our death is inevitable. I think a drastic change will not have the effect the devs are hoping for; it'll only push more nightblades away from melee builds.
They are reducing the amount of stamina and magicka returned from 4% to 3%.
- Siphoning Strikes: This ability now restores slightly less resources, and will no longer desync your resource bars upon use.

Ahh ok I missed that, can't say I love that especially with how huge the dmg debuff is for even using the skill. IMO the dmg debuff should only affect light/heavy attacks since recovery is only on those. Though for the siphoning attacks morph this would seem reasonable.
Wrong

It's not reasonable. Equivalent skills that sorcs and DKs have reduce the magicka pool not damage done.

I disagree, for siphoning attacks the morph, you can proc sta/magi regen on any attack or skill use, so having a moderated dmg seems fitting, but on the base skill i think it's overkill.

Theres no "heavy burst" from stealth once you are in combat.
Its the hidden state that makes us do alot of dmg, which you cant enter again once you are in combat.

Sorry but you are wrong, They have even changed the tool tip to reflect this. The bonus damage is applied from stealth or hidden. You are hidden if you are cloaked. I have tested this extensively. If you sneak attack from the back you get bonus damage, If you then cloak and move to the back you get bonus damage. if you cloak and just stand in front of the mob you do not get bonus damage. You still have to be behind, and cloaked to get the bonus and you can repeat that as many times as you have magicka for. I can two or 3 shot a normal vet mob doing this but If I just stand in front and attack (even spamming the cloak) it takes ages.
Having said that this isn't how I would fight in a dungeon against a boss. Ranged is always to way to go for N in boss fights.

Its not supposed to reduce armor, it does ignore armor.
How can you say its not working?
