✭✭✭✭✭OtherEach of my chars has two full build lines I can swap in and out between fights (other than the weapons and powers, which I can switch on the fly)
Nightblade:
Primary - DW/Bow/Medium full assassin ganker w/ escape options for solo PvP
Secondary - DW/Medium Siphoning for PvE AOE DPS/Offheal
Tertiary (to replace secondary) - Light/Resto Siphon healer
DK:
Primary: 1H/Shield/Light with typical powers loadout for PvE/PvP CC/Tank role.
Secondary: Destro/Light for PvE AOE megaDPS
Tertiary: 1H/Shield/Heavy for small group dungeons when I know I will literally have to carry it. Otherwise the light armor with a decent group is way more than adequate.
Temp:
Primary - Resto/Light Full healer/ranged minor DPS
Secondary - TBD, probably 2H/Light
Sorc:
Primary: Destro/Light
Secondary - Resto/Light
I have started to make the move to light armor recently, but for my NB build Medium armor and its weapon crit is essential for the gank role I am playing. Yep, pretty much "fail" by definition in this game, except the DKs are slightly better due to stronger class skills (which I don't use very much, since my characters are physical-melee-stamina types, and thus not relying on magicka).0 -

✭✭✭OtherVery traditional Nightblade. That is Nightblade like in Morrowind and any TES game the class was an option.Magic oriented with mostly lIght armor plus some heavy armor. Sword and Shield and occasional restoration. Nightblade = Sneaky mage and restoration is something that I always learned on all my TES charters. After hitting VR, I finally switched to cloth and staves. I tried several other builds and eventually just resigned myself to doing what worked instead of what was fun.0 -

UnconventionalTemplar, medium, bow, sword+shield, stamina focused => sneaky DPS (actually my DPS sucks, reasons are well known)
In PvE i have troubles against any mobs that use range. PvP I'm able to leech
Sometimes I manage to get other players down on my own (other templars, sorcs if they don't blink away... claw spamming DKs usually kill me, NB usually too if they get the first hit). Hope there are some changes (buffs to medium armor, stamina builds) soon.0 -
Hilgara✭✭✭✭✭UnconventionalMy goal is to morph every learnable skill apart from heavy armour and Undaunted. I want to be able to switch between armour types, weapon types, skills at will. Unlike other games this doesn't use the rock, paper, scissors model were every thing has a nemesis. You can counter any ability in the game if you unlock enough of the ones you have access to and have an arsenal of abilities to overcome whatever kind of solo content you come across.0

Belitseri✭✭✭Light armor Resto/Destro StaffMy Sorcerer was built to see how good a healer it could be because mana management was such a pita for the Templar. Heard Sorc are great in that aspect, so decided to play with it and see. So yeah, light/resto/destro.
My Templar was meant to be a clothie healer, so the same for her as well but leveled her 2h/med armor and had fun! But, primary dps outside of soloing content wasn't my goal for her.

OtherPool is asking what i am using - I am using light destro resto for both chars i have .
What was my initial build and idea - medium , melee weapons . Then i respecced to magic, robe and staffs.
What i would like to use - dw bow medium for my NB and would like to use medium , 2h , destro for my DK .
When i will be able to switch to melee ( and still be competitive ) i will be much happier with ESO - that will be completely new / improved and better game for me .
