What build type do you use?

We all heard the saying "Light armor, Resto/Destro staff or you're doing it wrong."
While this can be true in some cases, I hardly see many build like this outside the sorcerer class and I would like to know just how many people actually use the light/resto/destro build

So the question is, what type of build do you use?

Please read about the following options before answering:

Light armor Resto/Destro Staff:
-Choose this if you use Light armor and staves and play any other class besides Sorcerer.

Traditional:
-Sorcerer class with light armor and staves
-Templar/DK with heavy armor and melee weapons
-Nightblade assassin build with medium armor and dual wield.
-Nightblade ranger build with medium armor and Bows

Unconventional
-Sorcerer with Heavy/Medium armor and staves/melee weapon (Battlemage)
-Templar/DK with Heavy/Medium armor and Staves/Bow (Range Focus)
-Nightblade assassin build with light armor and melee weapons/bow. (Magicka build)

Other
-Build type not listed, specify in comments

Note: Please try and take into account the greatest number of a certain armor you use. Example: A nightblade that uses 2 Light / 5 medium armor with dual daggers will still fall under traditional.

Hard to give distinct answer as I do have many chars. But my main char is:

- Nightblade Medium Armor Dual wield / Bow

Playing around with Templar tanking in 7/7 Light Armor, 1H/Shield and Resto staff swap since Heavy Armor is such a fail and nearly worthless to use. I tend to be a bit more squishy now and need to pay particularly close attention to blocking/dodging/interrupting, but as long as I'm careful and remember to swap off between Unstoppable and Bone Shield I can still tank effectively. Also have a lot more magicka/regen available, so I can cast more class skills and self-heal/off-heal when needed.

DW medium armor nightblade main with traditional light armor/restore staff templar healer alt and light armor/resto staff sorcerer alt. I like the archetypes I guess.

Though I do want to try the light armor/staff DK, not because it's supposedly OP, but because I want to play a fire mage type character. Pyroblast, how I miss thee.

Shoot, I clicked the first option without reading everything. I should have chosen the second. I'm wondering if I'm the only one who did that, and am thinking probably not. If so, the results could be scewed.

Pretty traditional in how I gear up, if I want a difference gear set up, I choose a different class, it's all part of the style.

I won't condemn anyone for being different though, but if they do some different they can't complain if it doesn't work. Freedom to choose comes with the obligation to accept the consequences.

My intended main is a Redguard traditional warrior type, heavy armor and melee weapons; currently at VR3 and holding.

I am currently levelling and playing a Khajiit sorcerer with a restro/destro staff and light armor build.

I'm using LA/destro on my VR 1 DK which is my most played alt at the moment because I want to get them levelled. I may go back to heavy with 2h when they are, but I don't want to find myself without the option when I get to the real tough stuff.

I do a traditional medium armor/dw+bow Nightblade, but I've also leveled him up in resto staff. I also have all my Siphoning tree tweaked towards healing others, so I can provide some basic support heals, even as DPS.

As you can see, my main is running the "play how I want" build. My secondaries are running the other two factions with popular classes, because let's be honest, they are fun to play. My DK is more of a stamina build however. My Sorcerer is having a breeze with the solo instance missions so far. The remaining three are purely experimental, though I've only given the tank any real playing time. (The bowplar is not as viable as it was in beta, but hey you never know.)

I voted other because I favor nothing. Then again I'm not even close to vet. level but I still hope my vote counts;)
All these polls, I'm not quite sure why they are put, I guess people want to have others opinions if they have made a right decision (don't mean if that is so with this one though...) on something, but in the end - if you enjoy the game, all choices are right.

PS. At the moment my main char is using heavy armor with 2h weapon and trying to "stick" with that, good or not:) Some pvp done, a few deaths, few kills.

Traditional? As far as I see it, light armor is made for magic so it would be traditional on a Sorcerer. What tradition are you speaking of? This is TES, not WoW.
