Fairly certain this thread has run it's course and people are now pretty much repeating the same complaints. I'd say the thread has served its purpose and ZOS is aware that players would like more direct communication about what's planned for the game.

Have to read a lot in this thread to find substance. If everyone was chatted with as opposed to a few guilds, imagine the headache.

I like my voice heard, like we all do, and to know we are heard by return communication, yet I'm not sure all brainstorming is great to get out to all of us for premature reactions. Hearing from a variety of players is great, I guess there is the question of "Am I being represented here"?

There was a post in here that talked about questions/concerns that were brought up with Jessica. I appreciated those concerns and appreciate that people take the time to analyze, crunch numbers and theorize about specifics in the game...that I often miss. Another post mentioned AOE mechanics that Entropy Rising members were extremely vocal about, yet the gimps to AOE (which I do support) did go through. I suppose trust is an issue. From the posts I see from Jessica, she seems quite worthy of that trust.

... Ain, I personally hop into a voice chat channel with some of the guilds for one hour, every two weeks, on my own time in the evenings. It's not on their forums.
You entirely missed the point, Jessica. The point is that you're treating a subset of the community "better" than the larger community. You're giving them more attention, and from a justice perspective (value for the money) it's entirely inappropriate and unfair. If someone ELSE was doing this, it would be fine. For you to do it, given your role at ZOS, it's putting the needs of one customer above another, in however small away. Integrity is not being displayed by your actions.
... All that said, we are doing what we can, when we can, to get in here and answer your questions more often.
Actions speak louder than words. Given the absolutely horrific level of customer service and the miniscule attempts at terrible communication since launch, it's true you can only improve. A simple post count of Dev posts from this date forward, compared to launch to today will bear out your claim, Jessica.

Personally, I look forward to seeing if your claim is validated, in the future.

Give the WoW bs a rest. Most of the people coming in are coming from various mmos and a lot of them are just fans of the title in general. There is no secret assembly of WoW players trying to tear down the game. The game is doing that pretty damn well itself.

How often do you see a thread with your particular issue and see that a staff member posted only to find its a reprimand or a thread closure o thread move and has nothing actually related to the original discussion? Too many by my count.

I have two pms currently with no responses and numerous threads that have been ignored or receive no follow up. I'm sure others feel slighted as well.

I have posted 3 times in this thread and had all 3 edited due to Flaming they say. So we have moderators but not Developers posting. I am sorry but it is NOT looking good. I am a pre alpha, Alpha, abt pure beta tester on the old closed Player Test Server.

The can moderate posts within a matter of minutes but cannot provide feedback or anything at all?

    BS

Maybe there are moderators on this forum that are not part of the community team whose main job is to read and moderate this forum and those people can't or are not allowed to give answers on most questions or feedback? That's why you will see their names more often editing posts when rules are not followed.

    Just an assumption... ;)

You may be right that the thread has run it's course, but how would we know now that people who haven't already commented on it will probably never see it? The purpose of the thread isn't just to inform ZoS of the issues we have as players but to provide an avenue for us to debate and discuss those same issues.

I have no problem with ZoS closing threads that violate the code of conduct, since we all agree to it in order to post here, but thread sinking is just censorship and I personally find it insulting and arrogant. It's as if they are saying they have the right to direct the content of our discussions.

Was this the tipping point? I mean, not trying to be offensive here, but this is the breaking point for you? Or was it already pre-conceived?

Zenimax could be using the community to better their game. Instead they are flat out ignoring it all.

Just think if they made a statement about their intentions on bugs and classes and made it a sticky, posters could help keep the forum a less toxic place.

Its entirely their own fault people are angry with them. They are just plain bad at PR.

But no the forums are silent as the grave which give alot of credence to Zenimax not giving a S*hit about anything in the game.

Sinking this thread was the tipping point for me. They silenced the very thread in which they promised to offer better communication and transparency. Obviously they were lying.

After they chose to sink this, Ive lost faith too. This was the first time in many years Ive had the opportunity to play an MMO from the beginning; ESO. But this, on top of everything else is just to much BS.

I understand and I agree. This wasn't the tipping point for me personally, just added sprinkles to an already *** sundae. And the fact that no matter how many people comment on it since, it's never going to rise to the top again because it's sunk permanently.

Again, I ask, what the hell are you so threatened by? If you're doing what you claim, than this thread shouldn't be something you care whether it rises or falls on the main page. Clearly, they're guilty.

This reminds me of something I was reading on the TF site. The guild leader made a post about selling his PAX East tickets, and one of the incentives was that he would contact the ESO dev's and ask to get the person invited to some private party thing or something, like it was no big deal.

    Pretty shady.
