Yes, you have to save Hollow City and then march north.

Ok. I saved the city, made a lot of new friends, and yeah, I'm on the northward push now. I just have to get past those damn harvesters, and the undead that follow them and get me via exhaustion. I guess if I keep trying, I'll get past it, like everything else so far.

it's not even epic... I felt like I was hitting a small child with a stick.
Bs, you are no prodigy. Everyone who did this fight for the first time went to google or ran the whole fight. How do i know this? Because i know the design mechanics and phases of this fight on a statistical level. There are things you can and cant do. So don't try to act like you or anyone here steamrolled Molag Bag *first time you met him.
ESO wants us to hate this game

I beat MB the first time, without google or the forums. I did not, however, steamroll him. Resto-staff, full cloth templar. I kited a lot, I LoS'd a lot, I kept his big ugly mug on fire, and I was enjoyably amped up the whole time.
Most enjoyable fight in the game so far for me, it felt epic.
Started VRs, ran into two beetles, died in 10 seconds. Did not feel epic.

Just sneak past them, I did

Does no one like a challenge anymore?
He wasnt even that hard. Once you learn his mechanics your golden.
I honestly don't get why people have to come here and comment that the fight the OP admittedly struggles with was so easy for them. Who cares that you won the final fight on your first try using only light attacks? Bragging about your gaming prowess when someone explicitly stated that he/she is having a hard time is just bad style.
They give you so many (useless) NPC followers throughout the game, they may as well give players the option to use one for the final fight.
