I am just blown away by the *** final battle that is so difficult that it makes the game no fun at all. You can't bring anyone else and you are stuck in the stupid instance until you spend a certain amount of time logged out of your character that the system gets a clue you don't do the stupid end battle to teleport you out.

To be fair , i consider it bugged.
There should be no instance that locks you like that.

Not all of us want easy encounters as easy = boring. The Molag bal fight was the most enjoyable PVE encounter I've had in an MMO, not because it was too difficult (Did it first try) but because it was designed to BE difficult like so many fights before it.Permanently banned from the forums for displaying dissent: ESO - The Year Behind

Estin✭✭✭✭✭Molag Bal was a huge pushover for my nightblade. I did it first try because I found out swallow soul restored all of your HP because you did so much damage. I only had one close encounter where I had to use a potion at low health, and that was before I figured out about the swallow soul trick. Nightblades are too powerful. I feel as if they should be nerfed.7 -

Kuratla✭✭✭What's with these threads complaining about how difficult Molag Bal is? I'm not trolling here. He was so easy. Are you properly leveled? Properly geared? Using potions? I didn't even need to heal when I fought him. His mace attack brought me down to 80% health and health regen brought it back to 100% before the next mace attack. I found it rather refreshing to find a solo activity to be somewhat challenging in an MMO.

born2beagator✭✭✭✭I play a stamina build NB and molag bal didn't get my health under 90% once.
Used a bow and kited the whole time, so never had issue with his aoe. In fact he never got a melee hit in.
Swallow Soul was going the whole time, so constant dot and heal
Leeching strikes was on too, constant heal.
Magnum shot for pushback when he got too close.
When titans come hold block, they die.

jeevin✭✭✭✭✭The first few times I tried this battle it was impossible(Templar, Sword n board, Resto). It turned out I wasn't receiving the buff you get at the start of this level. It must have bugged. Anyways third time it was so easy I couldn't believe it, Molag barely put a scratch on me. Just like the rest of the game it's luck of the draw with Molag.1 -

✭✭As a templar, the fight was challenging, but not too hard. However, that is not really the point.
It should not be a solo quest. All those NPCs were willing to travel with you for the fight, why can't we bring our own friends?1 -

✭✭✭✭✭The big monsters have a slower turn radius this includes Molag Bal, its so slow that you can melee pound on their flank or rear and they don't attack back. Most of his attacks are frontal so keep moving towards his tail while attacking his side, he spends more time trying to keep up with you than doing any damage. Even if you're a caster, stay close to his side and just keep rounding to his rear instead of being at far range, most of his attacks won't hit you as again they're almost all frontal attacks.0 -

I've beaten Molag Bal with a heavy armor healing Templar, a light armor destro DK (go figure), and a stamina build 2H DK, and never felt like I was in danger of dying on any of them.
Maybe you can share your class & build?

Drake81✭✭✭The OP must be kidding. I killed MB with my Templer and my Sorc with ease. Mani Marco is harder then MB. Imho i think the hardest Boss you need to do, to be able to go to the vet Areas is Sinmure if your not willing to get the wutra artefacs (~90k HP).
(First time it was an accident, 2 time my free choice to compare my new Sorc with my Temp).
I mean what have you to do to kill MB? Runnning around to heal and restore mana. Escape (moving around is enough) jump attacks, blocking/dodging his range Attacks. In the short encounter with the 10 Titans, you just need to block and they kill them selfes with their own attacks. wtf?
If you are no frozen trunk but a player who knows that he can move while fighting, MB is like Diablo in D3, a totaly let down.

Dovel✭✭✭I found the battle with Molag Bal extremely easy. I was using my level 48 Templar (Archer Build). The fights leading up to it seemed much harder. Molag Bal was a push over.1 -
