We will have at least one more set of patch notes to add to 1.2 before it goes live next week. We are also working on a status update on other game content and systems (such as our plans for stamina/weapon ability builds, Templars, and Heavy and Medium armor) that we hope to share with you this week.
Most companies don't give their paying customers that much, leave alone the F2P MMO´s where you sometimes wait a half year for a new action bar ...

Releasing new content before classes are balanced and major bugs fixed is kinda stupid. Not all classes and builds can't even dream about joining this new Crypt of Hearts.
And answer that all classes are strong with dress and stick and templars are good healers is not acceptable. Not all want to play as mages and all templars don't want to be healers.
New content before all classes can equally do old content that's a key to success! /sarcasm off

Still waiting on a fully operational action bar here. 1) 10 buttons per bar. 2) each of those buttons actually executes the ability you expect it to, immediately upon that key being depressed.
They have a long way to go.

Nah Tripp3r, you aren't the only one who feels that way. There just isn't a whole lot to do once you've completed the stories.
In hindsight, I wish that I played this game a lot less over the past couple months and just took it slow. I should have treated this game like a game I play on the side, which is unfortunate if you ask me.
Well...did you get all your skyshards? Did you get all your lorebooks? Clear every world boss? Get all your crafting to 50? Get your (hahaha) fishing achievements? Get your other achievements? Make me a set of legendary V12 light armor?
If you said no to any of the above, well sir, you have work to do!
Happy gaming!!!
It looks like this will be fixed once we release our next major content update, which we're still planning to do next week.ZOS_JessicaFolsom wrote: »it focuses more on fixes [...] We will have at least one more set of patch notes to add to 1.2 before it goes live next week.
@ZOS_JessicaFolsom please tell me that the group fixes are finally making it in! Us PvP players have been weathering it since launch. Last night after the 10th or 11th group DC due to a large group I saw the majority of 2 guilds rage quit.
PvP players have a harder skin when it comes to bugs, I think that that skin may finally be wearing thin. It's killing us (quite literally, actually, it has a knack for catching us before a fight) and we really need to just hear something about it. Pretty please.
To re-iterate, it's two (possibly related) issues.
- Main issue: Large groups have become "unstable" since 2-3 patches ago. 1-2 members will DC occasionally, after ~1hr the more members will start DCing and eventually it quickly cascades to the whole group.
- Main issue: Large groups have always (possibly not in beta, but certainly during early access) crashed if members are in different zones. Different zones can mean maps or even people in a dungeon (e.g. a group in Cyrodiil with a member in one of the Cyrodiil dungeons).
- Sometimes members will DC the group no matter where they are. We had a player crash a group no less than 5 times last night even though he was in Cyrodiil.
- Similarly, some members will always crash the very instant they join the group. This was me last night, one specific group was instantly crashing me (I suspect a player in the group was causing it). Everyone else in the group was fine. I'm not the only one in my guild to experience this - it seems to randomly select a victim.
- I usually (80%) DC when I am in any type of group near a large fight. When I am solo this is not a problem (meaning it's not my internet connection or something environmental).
I hope that they never do this. It would kill the game if they went the traditional MMO route of batteries of abilities with hot keys. The restricted skill list is a deliberate design decision, and modern MMO gaming is strongly trending in this direction. Otherwise you end up with hyper-specialization (only the class with access to 10 heal buttons can heal), and balancing the skill combinations gets to be a nightmare in an open system like ESO (abilities A + B + C + D + ... are ridiculous together...)

That's not an "operational" action bar. That's a different game design.
Actually without adjusting difficulty at all, all of a sudden you would have a fun challenging game where you actually are a hero, that doesn't have selective amnesia.

if this is how future goes, this game's solo players, will be out of content and out of reason to sub.
Exactly! That is my entire reason for creating this thread. Where is the solo content? The last update was filled with tons and tons of group dungeons and content. The game needed the content and I am glad it was added.
We did NOT need more group content with this upcoming content update. We needed more solo/duo content. Unfortunately, it is far easier for ZOS to convert an existing dungeon into a Veteran group content dungeon than it is to create a new solo/duo delve. Consequently, we officially have an update with new content which is the absolute bare minimum they could deliver and not be met with accusations of the false advertising about not releasing new content.
Personally, I am surprised more people aren't complaining about the lazy, cop out it is to claim this Veteran dungeon as new content. That's like telling your significant other you are taking them on a cruise when you really only plan on getting on a small boat and taking a sightseeing tour of the harbor.

Sorry my computer has a fully functional keyboard. And I expect to be able to bind ALL the keys to something, like any other COMPUTER game worthy of the name.
Limiting me so you can more easily port your client to Consoles is quite frankly INSULTING.

There are more casual players than no lifers who need more pointless treadmill dungeons. Please work more on immersive updates and less on whiny basement dwelling neckbeards. Most of them are done with the game already anyways so improve what already exists before worrying about adding stuff for a tiny percentage of the population. Thanks devs.

Ruze is a veteran of the PC Beta, lived through the year one drought, survived the buy-to-play conversion, and has stepped foot in the hells known as Craglorn. He mained a nightlbade when nightblades weren't good, and has never worn a robe. He converted from PC during the console betas, and hasn't regretted it a moment since.
He'd rank ESO:TU (in it's current state) a 4.8 out of 5, loving the game almost entirely.

It's a deliberate design decision, but you have to be naive to imagine it is about making the game better. It's about making it suitable for consoles.
