Does Magnus' Gift set work?

Does Magnus' Gift set work? I just crafted it, and I'm not seeing any visual effect from it, and I'm not even seeing a magicka rebate in Combat Log (Of course I wouldn't see it if it works by putting the cost to zero instead of a magicka rebate).

EDIT: After testing, it appears that it does work. There is no effect or event in the combat log. My feedback for the dev team is that you should be able to see when it procs so you know when its working

It works, but I don't like HOW it works. It's not as if you can just spam the ability when you're out of magicka until you hit that 8% proc!

basically if it procs then the cost is set to 0 for that cast.

Um, no. Julianos cannot be compared to Magnus- one is a pure DPS set, the other is a sustain set.

Seducer vs Magnus- Magnus gives more spell power while Seducer gives more magicka regen. Pick which one is right for you based on what you want to do.

There is a visual cue when Magnus procs. It's a bit of a blue glow around your body.

Magnus provides a spell power bonus Seducer doesn't the 5 set bonus for seducer is marginally better but Magnus has a chance to cast a spell at 0 magicka seducer doesn't I prefer Magnus over Seducer but Julianos and Twice Born are far and away better than both.

You should really only use Magnus for the 4pc, it's much, much more worth it to use Seducer if you want a 5pc. Reason being is it's a flat 8% cost reduct instead of RNG, and although you miss out on the spell damage you can afford to stack damage elsewhere instead of regen. Both are healer sets anyway...
