It Is Time To Suspend The Subscription

The PC version of the game is now, without question, simply a Beta test and Debug for the Console versions. The delay of the console release proves the point.

It is time to suspend the monthly subscription charges until, at least, the game is ready for release. And, that will be when it is released for console systems.

To not do this is going to cost the game a tremendous number of subscribers (permanently), hurt the bottom line, and give the publishers a black eye they will probably never recover from.

Be smart.
Do the right thing by the folks who put up their money.
Because we sure aren't getting the "Polished and Lag Free" experience we were promised.

Not saying that the sub should be canceled or used up during the period of suspension. Just that they stop charging on it until the game is ready for release to consoles.

Same as Artemiisia. Most polished MMO I have played at this point in release and it seems to be getting better with every patch. Console delay probably has more to do with having to make some basic code changes to run on the console machines and servers.

Yes, there are some horrible problems and the bots are in total control but I'm loving most of the game and am giving ZOS a nice long time to fix the nasties .. I'll see how it is when my next renewal happens.

If a game developer promised you a bug and lagfree MMO and you believed it, well thats your problem. However I doubt anyone at Zenimax ever said anything to that effect.

I have to say that this game has to be one of, if not, my favorite RPG/MMO of all time. I am enjoying myself thoroughly, and my best friend is a WoW convert (which is a feat my friends, lol!).

I never cease to be amazed at Fan-Boyz blindness to the factual state of a game. No matter how obvious it is. They will defend it against all logic and reason. Decry any attempt to correct its march to failure. And oppose any step that might help the game, but at the same time admit there might be a problem of any sort. So tragic, so typical.

Now, that also says will be polished and lag free launch experience, which is complete b.s. and we all know it, but out of context seems to promise much more than it actually does.

Its vague enough to be explained away, but specific enough to be quoted. I don't think it was an accident to be worded in such a way.

Well , i dont deny the game got many , many bugs and that it is totally out of balance.

But i want vr10 , which means just that i want to do most quests on all zones , before i quit.

Once i have checked the story , then probably i will leave to play other things , there is no solo content after that anyway heh.

I just did all the quests on the VR2 map and only got to 74% - the rest I need will have to be grinded and need to find groups for the dolmens and public dungeon bosses...you really won't enjoy the journey if you like to solo.

This is both the best and worst MMO I've ever played. On the one hand, it is so well-crafted, beautiful, engaging, and immersive. On the other hand, it's overflowing with awfulness, both of ZOE choices and of bugs that go far beyond what's remotely tolerable.

I can't agree that we deserve to play for free until console release, but I really can no longer put up an honest argument against the notion that it feels like we're playing a beta.

yeah - for those thinking this is such a good thing: I dare you to try FF14, or even go old school and play Everquest2. I used to be such a burden on the EQ support because the game admins were such slackers. Then I played this game.
