New Army of Meridia Quest Bug - disappearing quest?

So I was in Coldharbour yesterday, going through the Army of Meridia questline. I finished the western half of the zone, and rescued King Dynar, and saved the eastern half of the zone for today - where I have to rescue Vanus.

After the patch, when I logged in, the quest had disappeared from my book. I never finished it, and definitely had it yesterday.

I went back to town to talk to the Groundskeeper, and she started the quest over, even though I was already done with half of it. Curious if this happened to others, as I spent quite a bit of time finishing half of the questline, and now it's gone?!?!

On another strange note, even though I'm in EP, I have a random shrine open in Stormhaven... (I'm a V1 character but haven't finished the main quest so I don't have the other factions open!)

Follow up: So after I talked to the Groundskeeper, it directed me to the Fighter's Guild, where there (again) was the Groundskeeper - with a quest marker above her head. I talked to her but the quest marker wouldn't go away. It also auto "finished" the quest I had already done yesterday (the one to save King Dynar), but didn't direct me to Vanus...

So I ventured forth, found Vanus, and he indeed had a quest. I'm doing it presently to see what happens...

Same Here,

Although I started after patch 1.08

I saved the king, went back to hollow town and talked to him, then talked to the groundskeeper.

The quest completed then immediately uncompleted itself, the groundskeeper teleported to the fighters guild, and still has a quest icon on her head. The king has disappeared, no Icon for Vanus appears now either.

Completely bugged quest, please fix it ASAP

Update.

I know have two groundskeepers, one outside the centre building, and one at the fighters guild. I seem to have restored hollow town after doing some other quests, but now only have one light of meridian showing in the quest journal

This main story quest is completely bugged, and as such the whole of Coldharbour (as most of the quests are linked to the main) is bugged too

Zenimax, you have a real problem here, better to take a look

Just to follow up on this, I did find Vanus out to the east, he had a black quest marker over his head as if it was a new quest, picked it up and completed the main story of coldharbor without issues after that.

I completely finished everything and got to the point where the groundskeeper tells you to go in the chapel to "talk with the group". When I go in, there is an arrow on the compass but not over anyone's head which generally means a trigger of some sort when you walk to it. Nothing happens when I go to the table. I talked to every single person in the building and nothing happens. I dropped the quest and before picking it back up again I went inside the chapel and found that all of the NPCs in there say the same thing to me whether I am on a quest or not. This has all happened AFTER 1.0.8 came out.

Necro-ing this thread because I'm having the same issues and it was the first google search result, has this really been broken since 2014???

So you are made aware, this issue was resolved for users back in 2014 within a short period of the game's launch. If you are having a similar issue, we suggest giving these same workarounds a try before creating a new report in the Bug Reports forum on your specific instance of this issue. This will help to determine whether or not other current users experience this.
