    My boyfriend was charged 3 times for renewing my 1 month sub. He is extremely upset. Those 2 extra charges better be pre-auth charges. This is why having it hold funds for the full amount is so damn stupid.

    I am posting this here since we were able to resolve the bank bug issue here also (regular support methods did not help and a few angels working over there are trying to right the wrongs of Tamriel).

    When the game went live there was a charge issue to more than valid credit cards; I submitted 3 tickets at the time and never received any response to the support tickets I created. I ended up changing the credit card and the charge (or pre charge as they scammed) went through and I have been able to use the 30 days I was promised for purchasing the digi pak (the same card which successfully charged is now being denied ). But now I am unable to login due to 'We were unable to process the payment for your subscription'. So it seems the accounting end of the business has still been unable to pull their heads from the Cave Bear hole and I am hoping someone can pick up on this.

    if you can locate game time cards its prolly the best bet

    Its nice that they are looking for more peoples to handle this.
    However its far too late at this point. With the amount of complaints considering double charges combined with the abysmal response times from the CS, i would say ZOS and their payment provider has high chances of getting into blacklist regarding payments.

    When approx 3-5% of payments goes to dispute, whole payment issuer ends up in blacklist and all the payments are getting blocked. The blacklist however is not global, but part of the CC issuers and banks share it these days.

    I would not be surprised if ZOS already exist in some banks blacklist and this will mean your every attempt to resubscribe fails, even when the original "test payment" was approved.

    My boyfriend paid for his brother's ESO account with his CC card. His brother entered in his own CC info yesterday since he'll be paying for his own sub... Nope. They ignored that new CC info and charged my boyfriend's card instead. Although his CC info is nowhere to be seen on his account. His brother even got a confirmation email saying his payment info was updated. But they didn't charge that card, they charged the other card my boyfriend originally used to buy the account...

    I've never seen a worse handling of a payment system.

    Im also pretty sure ZOS there forum got hacked 3 days ago. Im not sure why ZOS staff that works at the forums is gonna put.

    I just got an email from CS telling me that I must be having problems with my bank and to call them, and they offered me 2 free games.

    ^This Sara here dont even read my replies, i already told them a thousand times "I ALREADY CONTACTED THEM AND EVERYTHING IS AS IT SHOULD BE IN THERE PART AND THE TWO $14.99 IS STILL ON HOLD and TIED WITH YOUR COMPANY ZOS" Contacted also VISA, they gave me a timeframe if its not resolve they will forward the issue to there fraud department. Cant believe a global brand such as this cant even fix the *** thing. We need your immediate action, this is serious stuff here than those bugs in game. Come on.

    If you fail with the sub... buy an gamecard instead.. it worked for me after 3 failed tries with my Creditcard.. I used this site > codesnstuff.se/

    Im not gonna go buy a card for a company who dont even want me to subscribe nor help me with the situation. This is a problem THEY need to solve, not me or any customer who has this problem. Im not giving them any money in any way until they fixed this and we have been reimbursed..

    I just gave an option to those who wanted to play. To skip the hassle with the Creditcards.

    I wanted to resub but the account site wouldn't let me log in (perhaps because I don't have an active sub? - I can log in to the forums though).

    I wasn't able to, thankfully. I just saw this thread, and even though I feel bad about wasting the time I spent in this game (and the horse I bought and raised), I will not be coming back.

    I can't wait to be treated like a decent customer for my money Elsweyr. ;) There are some fun games launching nowadays. See you there!

    I enjoy ESO, I really do.

    But when I get a hold of over $75 two months in a row, and then get told that it's the bank's fault, despite repeatedly telling them that I have spoken to my bank, I'm done.

    Horrible customer service ruining what could otherwise grow into a fantastic game sucks.

    Same here. I've been trying to renew my subscription, but my payment keeps getting 'canceled' by the seller, according to Paypal. Fortunately for me, the amount is always instantly credited back. I've tried about 5 times to renew today without luck.

    When I logged a ticket, support told me to contact my bank. I did that and the bank said that there are no problems on their end, so I got back to Zenimax and I'm still waiting for a response from them until now.

    I might just get a game card tomorrow for instant access and no more billing hassle, I hope!

    One of the charges on my debit card went through, but the second charge made at the same time by ZoE is still a "pending charge" which is holding the 14.99

    Do I care about the $15? ..No, I care about principal.

    ...& I hope Visa ceases online transactions with you after this is all wrapped up.

    On a side note I thought it was kind of odd when I didn't get charged tax buying a game card locally but Zos was going charge me if I paid for sub directly through them.

    Yep, I got billed twice (still pending) on the 11th on a prepaid card. Effectively wiped out the balance on the card, and there were 4 attempted charges immediately after.

    Got a 3 day code to give time for the charge to be removed, but credit card company says not until the 22nd.

    Got a NEW card prepaid today. Processed payment, and just like before....it was canceled. God knows if they sucked all hundred bucks out of this one too.

    I'm just about done trying. Ridiculous was the 11th. That it's still happening is not excuseable. Been on hold for an hour, asked to be called back hours ago.

    It is NOT because of any abbreviations. I spelled everything out on this new card like it was suggested by the last support guy I talked to.

    Just seen some chatter today in guild chat, for a brief time I was in game, 2 people got double charges too, they didn't even knew about forums, so I directed them here. Was just wondering, how many more in game, got screwed and don't know what to do next, because we all know, how well CS is working here. Hope you all get your money back or game time added - whichever you want. Good luck !
