Why is the letter å not available in this game?

    I need the letter "ñ" when speaking with my compatriots.
    Do you mind? I'm busy doing the fishstick, it's a very delicate state of mind.

    Indeed. Could it be possible that they are actually using another similar ascii in the chat such as 8859-2? That has ö and ä but not å.

    I explain it as ZoS stupidly only supporting a partial list, it might be the shorter ASCII list with a few bolted on.

    Don't get me wrong, it is stupid, and they should support at least all letters in European languages (personally I believe all letters in all living languages, but that's a slightly different arguement) since it's supposed to be supported in Europe.

    It might not be a huge priority, but (and here's the kicker) it's not that hard to fix either, they just need to patch the extra letters in, much easier than fixing the Bug were everyone starts speaking german for example.

    But once this is allowed everyone in the world wants there special signs added, there are about a few million of them.

    No, this is the first game Ive ever played that prevents the use of certain letters such as å.

    Heres my question. Does ß work? I havent tried.

    This is actually the first game in this day of age that I havent been able to use all my keys on my keyboard. Be it swedish or whatever language. But I do think that being a EU server, we should be able to use EU languages. So they should be supported. I understand if people think this is mundane, but to us that have to use it in every other sentence its quite irritating.

    Why is this still something that isn´t solved? Is there no plan to solve an issue most of the ppl playing from non english speaking countries have? This is definately a very easy thing to do aswell.

    I've played in guilds in LOTRO, Rift and WOW with many Danes, Swedes, Finns, a Norwegian or two and even one Laplander .. none of them made a fuss over this, few actually used accented characters in their names and were perfectly happy.

    What's the big problem for you?

    This is the first game I´ve played that I can´t use some letters in. I´ve played some of the above and never had to complain in those, cause it worked. The problem being, we can´t type in our own language. I´m very very sure if it were the english language it would´ve become a riot. We just want to be able to type in our own language in a game we play 2015. Not too much to aks. As I wrote above, not a huge issue, but it is an issue.
